@EVOLOVER69 Yah i'm going to miss the v10, that engine was incredible! I thought the SMG was a bit jerky but still an amzing car. I know the twin turbo v8 will not feel the same, but they had to do it for emission standards, but who knows. I'll give it a chance, i still have faith that they will come up with a good car. I just hope its not as heavy as everyone says it will be. From what it looks like, BMW had partnered with a carbon fiber company so maybe it will be a surprise! Lets just see.
why to hell my escort passport 9500i is so fuckin bad,it spots the fixed cameras on highway like five m before them,it just to to bad,or its not made for europe ?
to ithio ya to thikomou re! it spots the red light cameras 100ft before i get to them, but it does do a great job for radar detection. I think its also not made for europe, its strictly has locations for the U.S. so you would have to manually set the location of the cameras when you are there.
sarasota, and yes the gear changes are sick! after the break in i can put them even quicker, their are 5 or 6 levels, this was recorded on the 3rd, so they are much quicker
Shit DUDE! hahaha, its easy to set up, just plug it in and set it to AUTO for drivin around normal streets, then highway for anything thats at least has a 60mph limit. You will get alot of xband radar signals, but those ususaly come from alarm systems in homes and from door sensors. Those will go away once the device saves the locations. It detects laser, but that doesnt help since your being hit with it at that moment lol. So you can get a laser deffuser system for about 2k from escort.
yah, escort 9500iX works great, has GPS so it gets rid of false alerts fairly quickly. I want to get a laser system, but it would be nuts to put it in every car, so its not cost effective. Escort makes the best ones, valentine i would say is second. Saved me a few times. haven't once gotten a ticket ;)
True, well at least you know now to watch out for hummers and anything that weighs 3 times as much. My guess is that the hummer was not using his signal and the m came up from the side fast, i've seen that happen before. Just make sure you have some room when you punch it.
well don't pay too much attention to the carbon fiber, its designed to absorb the impact, so although it might look mangled and destroyed it probably provided a great deal of safety to the driver as it is 10times stronger than steel. So if my roof gets shredded and my head is still on i'll be a happy camper hahaha. I wish the whole dam thing was made out of carbon fiber, have you ever seen any formula 1 accidents? They walk away from some crazy shit goin 200!
Only have 300 miles so far lol. Need 1200! I really don't go anywhere far so i'll have to drive to miami or something to really do it fast, i also have a damn nail in the back tire already, but i'm glad it doesnt have runflats like my 5. So an m6 accident huh? thats scarry shit! be careful, i only push it when i've got an open road, i don't care about anyone racing me. Its one sweet ride though, the tranny is the best part i would say, exhuast isnt too loud either, maybe aftermarket soon.
Next time we do something like this I'm going to hold the camera really still, lol.
