ounce you have all the skulls there is another gate at the beguining or the level were you are cheif and you in a room with a bunch of brutes and grunts and you in the covinant city. its floating near the ceiling in the middle of the map.

then you press that and the next gate will show up on that map

That order isn't true...there are 16 different combinations of skulls that are possible using the code found. Not to mention the multiple switches, tri gates and other interesting tid bits that I won't get into (seeing as they are still personal secrets) People shouldn't give up on any of this yet, its BUNGIE who knows how far things go.

their are numerous gates in the game, but those are tri-gates, they can be found on Cairo Station, Outskirts, Delta Halo, Regret, Quarantine Zone. High Charity, and The Great Journey. this kind of a gate makes the mystery bigger....

Because if you do Regret on Easy, you will find the skull behind Regrets tower, but it does nothing. But when you do it on Lengendary it's the Envy skull. But why would they put that skull on Easy when it will do nothing nothing when you pick it up? It could be part of the mystery of the gate.
