  • Tusen takk! Dette var prima :D Bortsett fra å gå i naturen selv, så er det lite som gir så ro i sjela som å se på Lars Monsen og hans eskapader :)

  • I love their antics when they catch fish.

"What is it really that you're doin'?!

--I'm tryin' to get me some food, I saw a big pike just out there, but I didn't get it.

Are you trying to tell me that you're shooting the fish?

--Well, the pike doesn't bother whether it's shot or clubbed to death... !?

And this you're allowed to do, right...?

--It's not among the biggest or baddest guns, but at least it's big enough for a pike.

(*laughs*) Yeah, well, there's always something to learn... it had to be a man from Trøndelag ^^,

  • @joakim2407

--You've been travellin' far, care for coffee?

I'm not sure if I dare to drink coffee with you, but if you promise to stop shooting...

-- Well I've got tea as well, if you're more of a soft socialist.

Well it's nothing wrong with the socialists *chuckles* Sure, let's get a cup of coffee...

--Feel free to spend the night if you wish.

Then he tells us that the tin can, labeled "fish balls" is actually filled with 10 yo rum that he got from a guy he knew who smuggled it from Germany =)

  • thank you very much for upload!

Lars Monsen is a big man in my eyes!

    Tack så mycket!

  • at 2:24:01 when his in the tent the camera guy asks him if he dislikes the dampness of the tent, and he tells the guy how tall he is 183cm which i think is 6,3 feet

  • @ivageivage

    183 cm. is 6 ft. =)

  • Thanks for putting this together Skog.

  • Thanks for uploading - great!!!

  • i watched it and i haven't spent the time to learn danish or swedish guess i know what my summer is gonna be filled with!

  • @Killahofosho

    *slightly offended* (^^,)

He's Norwegian, there's quite a big difference between the three, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish :p

  • @joakim2407 hahaha you are funny, but learn the language's and how to speak them' first before you speak of them!

  • @Killahofosho

I understand both Swedish and Danish ( apart from certain accents that's just impossible to understand for a Norwegian like myself) if that's what you meant =) But calling me Swedish is like calling you British or Canadian... :p

I'm just messing with stereotypes here though... (^^,)

  • @joakim2407 all i said was i need to learn 2 separate languages. i wasn't pointing fingers! i figure if i learn those 2 languages it may make it easier for me to learn other languages like suomi or norsk! (sorry about the last comment i was tired and in a very bad mood!)

  • @Killahofosho

No harm done, take care =)

  • 13:15 That should work ;)

  • Haha! At 0:13:15 - it looks so funny with him throwing the dogs off lol!

  • lucky for me i'm Danish and danish and norweagen are nearly the same

  • Norwegian is almost same as Serbian so no problems ... we can understand every god damn word that is comin' from their mouths lol.

Thnks skog for this vid... and it goes on to fb Bushcrafter in Heart page where I put all other Lars' Videos from his voyages in Skandinavia and Canada...

    He is a cool guy.

  • @nedeljkomostar

"Norwegian is almost same as Serbian so no problems ... we can understand every god damn word that is comin' from their mouths lol."

-Well, I'm Norwegian and I don't understand Serbian at all... It's to totally different languages, but if you say you understand Norwegian... =)

  • @joakim2407 I'm glad you got the joke lol. But talking seriously, just buy listening melodical redundancy of Lars' talking throughout all of his vids I am able to pick here and there words that I can understand.

  • Good stuff SK...hope all is well over there....f@-king freezing down here; yeah subtitles would help but really, if they can't get the gist of it, then don't bother watching it?! Cheers.

  • Finally someone posted this in one video ! thanks. too bad there are no subtitles for those who doesn't understand norwegian.

  • Fantastisk altså!

  • wait, crap, I just saw that there are no subtitles.

  • @maethorize You don't need subtitles to enjoy these.

  • @SkogKniv Yeah the images are beautiful! But i think what he says must be very informative and interesting!

  • @maethorize life's a bitch :) im norwegian so i don't need subs muahahahhaahha

  • Now we know where you get the soundtrack for your videos from. Thanks for uploading!
