In response to the posts that said this is from depression....I've seen, even know "hoarders", and this is NOT "hoarding"! Hoarders have totally different manerisms and they definetly don't laugh and joke about their living conditions! Where was the "depression" in this family? Maybe their jovial attitude is their way of covering it up! Hmph....
First off they are a lovely family, I am not easily shocked but when that garage door went up at the end to show more stuff, it really was beyond belief.
This is a shame and Ms. Nash just rewards bad behavior by putting them on TV. Call a public health inspector, adult/child protective services, the police!
Now thats a shame!!!!! How Can Anyone live that way.. Its called a mop, broom, and and a dustpan.. I would be so embarrased!!! That does not make any sense.. Kinda funny, but a grew up really poor, and thats one thing my mom (who had 11 kids and my father wasn't around, and she worked 2 jobs to support us) made us do is too keep our house clean.. Might I mention we had a house we no electricity and no running water, but still we still have to keep our house clean!!! You guys are ungreatful!!!
i just finished watching this episode...I searched online to find out how to leave a comment... I know first hand that had u lived in my state--you all would be charged with neglect ! the fact that your husband laughed at the moldy disgusting fridge is indicative of how the hell people live like that. when the basement had possible black mold and all he worried about was the pool table shows where his values lie. Im sorry ... If no one has reported u to the state, they should have.
@thickwitit73 I understand you may be concerned, but you don't know these people. You are in no position to judge this family's values and morals on the way they act on TV. TV! Everything is exaggerated on TV. A mess in their house is a problem but they're a great family. Dont apologize for being rude and judgemental because Iknow you aren't truely sorry.
