  • the wirery strong applies here. Toned, lean muscles aids in endurance sports...you exercise program should revolve around the sports you enjoy to allow yourself the best performance. Also take into consideration bone mass, thin frame, med frame, large frame etc...anyway i have a frame like talltrainer and i can run, cycle all day and also do bar pushups using this ball - keep up the great vids m8

  • not biceps?

  • What do you mean?

  • i always thought push ups were for biceps

  • Biceps don't really get any work during pushing exercises. They start to get work in pulling exercises (when you are pulling something towards you). If you went super wide on the push-ups you could get a little bit of biceps but I don't recommend it because it would be a lot of strain on the shoulder.

  • hmm.. it's hard to buy that cause obviously you need a better model to do it. lol. bigger muscle guy to convince people.

  • LoL...Only if you are trying to convince people who want to be big muscle guys. I target my training toward people who want to be healthy and function better. I can do more chin-ups than a big muscle guy. I can also run faster and farther. It's not how strong you look...It's how strong you are.

That being said, if I wanted to convince the gym rats then yes being bigger would convince those people more. It's not a goal of mine however.

  • Thanks for the comment. I especially like positive comment. Sounds like we are like minded fitness professionals. Good Luck. Keep building people up.

  • Will do. I took myself a little too seriously while making this video. I will try to learn from it and act a little more like my regular self.

  • Nice instructional but please use the terminology "ABS" and not "stomache" when referring to the abdominal wall!

  • Thanks for the comment. I used the word stomach because people know where their gut is and it is more tangible than saying abdominal wall. But you are very right people don't know that their stomach is only the upper left side of their abdomen just under the ribs. It is not the whole abdominal area.

  • good basic starter tips. the last line is the best. focus on quality, not quantity. that approach also leads to a lower risk of injury.

  • Thanks for the comment. I agree with you completely.

  • thanks it a nice tip i can learn now dud so thanks i guess

  • you're gay

  • I'm sorry you feel that way. I know scooby1961 does a great job with bodybuilding exercises. I am targeting a slightly different group. There are a lot of people who have never exercised before. I'm trying to get them moving. I'm sorry it's not hardcore enough for you. Just don't look at anything else I post. Have a good time working out.

  • wow thx for the tips if u cant afford a ball wut else can we use around the house LOL?

  • damn it i was doing like 80 but the wrong way and now i guess i do like 65 -70!!!!

  • That was a great video. Thanks for the tips.

  • dear mr trainer im 14 and i want to do push ups and i get tired when i do about 10 why is that am i doing them wrong?

  • Very good info.

  • dear mr.tall trainer, your video was well made though I'm already good at all sorts of calisthenics. the rolling of the shoulders is smart..please don't take these random pricks seriously..they're just bored and have nothing else to do

  • what he said about the shoulder joints and musculature is dead on; its not a very structurally sound joint! When I do pushups incorrectly I can hear/feel my shoulder popping and it does not feel good. Thank you for the vid!

  • Hey, thanks for the tips on pushups!well done video.Check out my fitness video and let me know what you think. keep on making some more!
