I'm not even a fan of Green Day, in fact I've never even heard their original version of this song, but I listened to this maybe 3 times in a row because I just couldn't get over how beautiful it sounded. Thank you.
@ROMagister that's a big problem. there's lots of people who would be horribly offended at the "church instrument" being used to play contemporary music. Pipe organs were a staple in concert halls ages ago, but they fell out of interest and were delegated to churches. That has created a mentality for most devout christians that the organ should be used for nothing else. and then there's the depression-era old coots that are even worse; stuck in the "old time religion" way of life.
excellent!

@Garoubis that's not the umbrella corp. logo.... it's one version of a Christian cross, probably of Saint George cross. =]

This is why pipe organs belong in rock bands! (If only we could get the portability issue solved.) Well done!
Diapason16ft 1 year ago 25
@Diapason16ft : The other way round !
Rock bands and maverick players belong in halls with serious organs -fixed installations- like churches are ;-).
(If only we could get the acceptability problem solved.) ;-)
