I didn't know what Tron was until I played Kingdom Hearts II. Is that the same Tron as the movie?

Yes Tron was a movie. It was shunned by Disney originally because the creators "cheated" and used computers to animate a few min worth of the movie (hypocrisy abounds) which was quite revolutionary and it didn't do well because it lacked support and the idea of a personal comp and all that was way ahead of it's time and people didn't get it.

Later Disney realized that they could make money off of it and put it in KHII and now this.

I heard it was going to be a proposed level and watched it before it came out. I asked my Dad about it's history and he was the one who told me what he remembered. Then I did a little research. Kind of sad that the people who made it don't get any money out of now.
