I love T2, but.........T1 is the best.

The stop animation is dated on it, but that's it's only weakness.

The movie is flawless, the story, the acting, the flow.

T2 had a lot of plot holes, and it didn't flow as well as T1.

Like when the machine told Sarah to call her son. All he had to do was kill her and he could become her.

Not a big deal at all, but it's little things like that which help me make my decision on which movie I prefer.

@MiamiKOfan I completely agree with you. Every single thing about T1 is great. If you think about the stop motion actually makes sense. The T-800 modle was an older modle and would move differently than even the T-800 in the 2nd movie. I mean the T-800 was probably one of the 1st T-800s so it would make sense that it would move slower/more clunky than the new modle.

I don't know what but there is just something special about T1 and it's music that I love over T2. Don't get me wrong I like T2 but I love T1. I even saw T2 before I saw T1 so I don't think it's nostalgia goggles.

Terminator I was still the best Terminator if you think originality, Terminator II was the best terminator film if you look at it as just a big blockbuster movie, but Terminator I set and raised a lot of bars, with the music, the pacing, the vicious action scenes, etc. Respect for James Cameron, yes.

What about when terminator shoots the guards in the legs and he says "They'll live"? Terminator 2 lacks the darkness of the first movie. T2 is not a bad movie but it's certainly lacks the serious cyberpunk atmosphere of the first movie.

T2 stands as one of the best sequels ever made that's a common know how.

And you shouldn't compare the two as a given, that's the first mistake. You can't compare them well cause they are different movies.

T2 beats T1 in terms of action and effects aswell.

This is what is wrong with youtube, there is no control on what people upload, they can say whatever they want about what their uploading, calling it the original, when it isnt, and then people trying to search for the original end up with these fakes.
