How old is the turtle in the video? I Just bought two turtles last week and they're about 3 inches in lengh, I think they're 12 weeks old. I have them in a 2ft tank with 7 neon tetra's.

Dude you have to much water for a turtle the water level should only be twice the lenth of the turtle. Also you need a basking area for the turtle to be able to climb on to rest out of the water. Just a small area to dry off now and then. Your current set up is tourture for the poor turtle. you should also have a florasent light on the top of the tank on for twelve hours a day the light is cruisal for helping the turtle to digest food and to obsorb vitimans.

lienhaegeman are you a drongo saying that tank is too small. Thinking you know everything about turtles. That turtle has a lot of water there. Ok its not like an olympic swimming pool but it has room to do some nice lenghts. We are not all as rich as Doctor No and can afford big effing 10000 Gallon tanks you know.
