@bi123ish kristen and nikki were not originally friends. nikki is good friends with TwiDirector Catherine hardwicke and michael angarano and they worked in the movie Lords of Dogtown in 2005. Nikki did not audition for her role as Rosalie and was just casted by Catherine. nothing romantic really happened between Rob and Nikki and the "dates" were mostly composed of the rest of the twilight cast minus Kristen who was still a minor that time plus her admission of dating with Michael.
