@LaserBeam002 yes, Slovakia is republic, but Bratislava was from 1563 - 1830 coronation city of Hungarian empire (Slovakia was a part of this monarchy) and this is a cultural event dedicated to this history! This coronation ceremonies (outdoor theatre) are every year.
hungarian Poszony, german Pressburg, slovak Prešporok...they were old names of this amazing city. Name Bratislava had changed since 1919 becouse Bratislava became capital of Slovak republic.
Who is being coronated? I thought Slovania was a republic???
