I doubt it has anything to do with that. Ron just grew up playing thrash metal (i.e. in Watchtower and others). These vocals are just an extension of his stylistic background.

@lewishalsted They are all fucking insane, but yes, I think Bobby is the most insane. He's doing stuff with all 4 limbs. What I love is that although I could never play like that, he is so tight that it's clear enough that you can conceptualize playing like that. This band & Holdsworth takes you to a new level of active listening. Just keep listening over and over and let it happen. 6:45 to 7:15 is beyond belief. I'm free!

@domonly No you stupid asshole, all fucking music is infinitely hard to play, because you can constantly make the composition fucking technical and difficult to play, just as anything else, mastering perfect synchronisation and rythm is very diffcult to achieve while some people have it naturally, achieving an even and fast roll is difficult to achieve, especially for someone like me who doesnt have a large attention span, you just hear more simplistic drum beats then you do guitar riffs.
