nice dish you know your way around the kitchen but i have a few tips for you your equipment needs an upgrade a nice knife, pan cuting surface and you can stop the cutting board from moving all over the place by setting a clothe under it
@realgoodfishes thats silly. as long as he is comfortable with the knife, it doesnt matter what brand or how expensive it is. and everyone knows that you can put a wet cloth under your board if youve worked in any restaurant before. im sure he knows this too.
@i0hate0this0place This video is just for fun so non chefs at home can ejoy a simple recipe & make it their own. But nevertheless this is a very valid point & as I do in my kitchens, a wet cloth or tea towl/dish cloth under the board makes cutting, chopping or slicing 100 X safer ;-)
Cod was seasoned & yes when your making these recipes vids its easy to foget some finer details but the emphasis is their. Your perfectly right, some garlic & thyme would compliment this dish perfectly
WOW!!! This is the best video yet Matt!!! I can almost taste it. Two Questions, first what was oven temp ? and second how long did you cook the fish once you put it in the oven? Thank again for sharing as always its a pleasure..
although a good suggestion would be to not serve the thyme sprig in the actual caponata..
