What makes me cry mostly about this clip, is that I can really relate myself to Misuzu. We both seem freespirited and innocent in one moment, and we both have our 'episodes'. I have been like that since childhood as well. :(

As for the Portal 2 thing: I watched one of those Hitler videos about PSN a day or two after it went down, and someone made a spoilertastic comment about Portal 2. When I told him it was too soon to post comments with spoilers (especially on a video with nothing to do with Portal 2), they proceeded to spoil even more from the game.

I'm pretty sure that counts as being an asshole.

Yeah it's always made me cry. Misuzu is like the perfect daughter. One who cries when she's troubled or down, one who likes to have fun but at the same time, stick to her schoolwork, and she's very helpful and caring too :D

Is that what happened? I was thinking about it the other day and how the series presents the supernatural stuff as it could either be reallity or fantasy. Could the "real" explaination for her condition be she was sexually abused? The fear of closeness, psychological escapism (her fantasies about flying away like a bird) and all the psychosomatic symptoms she has later on are all classic signs.

It sounds kind of crazy but it comes up several times in the series (like when Yukito sneaks into the clinic.) I was thinking it could have been her biological Mom that did it to her, which is why she's not mentioned in the series.

the reason she never had an attack with her mother is b/c she stays away from her. but iv always wandered if part of the curse was that she would feel phisical pain when making a friend and it would be so painful that she would have to cry. but it could be very well that she just cries...and thats the pain all on its self. 1 way or another this is a beutiful aniome and my fav show ever (imagine that a 15 ep with 1 movie to be my fav show) this is when the show starts going down the sad path

now the reason why he became a crow was he realized that Misuzu was the most important thing that ever happened to him, showing him how to live life to the fullest (in my eyes). he came back but Misuzu was already deep in ill sickness. now if you remember, the doll that his mother gave her can grant a wish to anyones hearts desires. Yukito's only desire was to see Misuzu well again and he would give up everything just for her to be cured

omoilomo: he became a crow in the series because Misuzu wasn't going to make it. he decided to leave her, thinking that she would pull through if Yukito was away from her, since the sickness was that if she ever had any freinds, she would start to cry and become hurt.

Oh, haha, but that's the truth. That's how they explain it in the anime...

It's because of an ancient curse that was put on one of her ancestors, Kanna. ;D

Basically, she dies if she makes any friends permanently... and when she cries because of the pain, they usually think she's weird and stop being friends with her... but she doesn't stop being friends with Yukito.

You should watch it. ^^
