I did this one time using 6' Weather Balloon and stranded Copper #14. We discovered 10k volts on the wire from static buildup. Just curious what you did to eliminate that? I used a piece of twine soaked in water tied to the wire and a ground rod to dissipate it. I'm sure there are smarter ways!
Imagine if the video included actual working contacts, that would be cool.

feed the antenna at DC. use a piece of coilstock in series with the antenna to ground, then tap up until you get a match.
