on first impressions i thought " shit why should i listen to this guy" but man credit to you, constant self improvement. you know more than you let out. peace
haha, the kiss of death... sadly I broke this rule recently (even though I had no choice, it's complicated). Although I still managed to convince this girl to go out with me this saturday, woot.
I agree slip in the shit slowly never pile it all on during the first date....on a different note when I was younger I had a little crush on bill....hehehee thats a prime example of what you don't want to say on a first date.
Nice tips. I agree whole-heartedly with the fact that dates do not need to be romantic. My idea of a perfect date is getting to know them first, not being a professional diner. That's why if I want to get to know a girl, I take her to a place that will support lone conversation. My place is the park (from the movie "40 Nights") However, even though it is from a movie, it makes sense. If you really like a girl, you get to know her, not dine with her awkwardly.
Perfect date, in my opinion, is a movie and then dinner. No crazy stunts, nothing insane, plus it let's the guy show off by picking a good movie and a good place to eat, based off of the simple questions "What kind of movies do you like?" and "What kind of food do you like?" They're off-hand icebreaker questions that the girl will really feel special when he remembers them and applies them to the date. Then at dinner you automatically have a conversation topic- the movie you just saw.
That is a good idea in itself. Maybe I'll change mine to a movie then a walk? aha, well, I see it in a way that would not even be considered a date. In most eyes, my idea would just be "Chilling" or "Hanging out" with that person. Which leads to knowing them as a fiend before anything serious. Of course, my ideas are probably better for the long-term relationships. It depends on what you want, mainly.
Well, I'm just talking about the standards of dating. Honestly, the girls I meet in my everyday life tend to be lacking in qualities I admire. I've not had a girlfriend that I didn't meet online in quite some time, so there's always been a nice, long period of conversation before even meeting for the date.
