@CuteCatFaith I guess I would want to meet her because she was such an incredible woman to survive the harsh conditions she endured during her 11 year imprisonment.
@tudorfan1500 The book about her by Weir is a wow. She seems like some kind of superwoman to me. I dunno if I would LIKE her, but I'd love to MEET her and find out all about her! Something like ten children, too, ouch.
@gwatson678 iTunes probably. It's Vangelis something or rather. And if anyone is looking for a documentary, look for the Eleanor of Aquitaine by animegirlUK.
I am a descendant of Eleanor of Aquitaine. I have done the genealogical research. I am descended from a German noble family and Eleanor, her father , William X , and several others from their family are in that family's tree.
I just don't understand how she could be so foolish as to betray Henry and convince her sons to rebel against him. What did she think would happen? She's lucky he didn't have Henry VIII's vengeful temper.
Nice work. I gave my daughter, Sadie, the second name of Eleanor, after Eleanor of Aquitaine. I thought (and hoped) that she would be just as feisty, just as respected. Sadie's only 7 but she has already shown signs. Check out my channel and you'll see what I mean. Sorry to digress!
Greetings to all the other Eleanor of Aquitaine descendants out there!

@slea79 If Henry had even layed a hand on her, it would mean civil war.
