People forget that the speed of a car has to do with more than horsepower. Such as weight, aerodynamics, transmission, torque, ignition timing and other factors. I'm sure the same fuel was placed in the car. Also the power to weight ratios are 1/100ths of fractions of which means they are similar in that respect 0.127 to 0.128. Its the small little details in this case taht makes the difference, hence why the GTR won by only a little.

that was indeed surprizing. True the Audi isn't as sleek (CV value etc.) and does weigh 2 tons... nevertheless I would have expected it to win with the extra 200+Hp. Guess one would really need to look at the respective power to weight ratios. Did they also have the same amount of fuel on board or was the Audi loaded with a full tank? 80 or so litres of fuel is not exactly light. When they do these tests do they always have the same amount of fuel on board?

But for speed 200+ km/h you 'll get another coefficients and for 300+ km/h they will be another again. And the GTR's advantage in such cases will be much more then calculated bellow 1.396 times.
