Hey mate, It's a Operation Flashpoint conversion. I wanted some more Opfor aircraft and ported that and a few others like the mig29 etc. The guy that converted them is trying to get permissions to release to the wider community.

Sorry but this is not a cobra maneouver. When you ejecute "cobra" you climb vertically, in real cobra continue go forward. ArmA model flight is bad and no permise cobra maneouver, sorry for my english.

Yeah, I know what your saying, the arma engine, doesn't allow for an 'exact' cobra but it's as close to the real thing as I can get. :)

I thought it was performed whilst flying horizontally, not vertically?

The intial move starts on the horizontal, you see it at some air shows the plane goes a little bit vertical while it bleeds off speed, unfortunate;y the game engine for Arma isn't 100% correct in this respect and this is about as close as I could get it with adjustments to the flight controls.

The Pugachev's Cobra is an aircraft cobra maneuver. It is a demonstration of the pitch control authority, high angle of attack (AOA) The maneuver allows for very quick turns which can make an attack fail or put the pilot in a position to execute an attack. The maneuver is so named after the Sukhoi OKB test pilot Viktor Pugachev, who first performed the maneuver officially in 1989 at the Paris Le Bourget air show.
