. Off course I am no match for these top CEO’s but would like to put a light are we really selling our so called Democracy just because the UK rejected this technology do I understand that the Indian Government has brought in the foots of the Americans that our voice will not be heard and these Dum dick head’s don’t even know they are compromising Indian security at the our tax payers cost
As per the reports are these people doing Business to catch the Wright culprit for better India or make long term INDO -US business. I think its selling data and compromising our National Security for this Biometric technology or probably doing forceful business.

Can somebody explain if this is an intellectual what is Infosys doing by selling Indian at the whim and fancies of Americans by issuing Unique Identification Number which cost 600Rs for a population of 100 core including 27 parameters by the Americans so if they increase parameter will the amount / person for UIN will also increase and so will Infosys or it will remain constant and why is it that Infosys is handing this entire set up to three firm whose CEO are run by the retired CIA
Nilekani in his reply to the vertical ideas, ( at 1:46 - 2:14 ) he is taking an anticipatory bail that the caste system will be NOT demolished, and he is intimidated to respond to that question boldly, even though he has well framed the vertical and horizontal ideas.
For the gigantic size of our problems which seem natural for our gigantic population under a faltering democratic system, we in India 10,000 young and visionary people like NANDAN NILEKANI. Many thanks are due for uploading this useful video.
Mr Nandan Nilekani will be remembered as an outstanding Indian for his mighty contribution in the Indian IT business, and also for his stimulating 'ideas'. He points out in unmistakable terms, that it will be for the social and political leadership of India to help its youth to put on a track of prosperity with peace, or one of frittered energies of the youth.
lsjtifo ! Mr Nilekani himself has said that the "demographic dividends" as an operative factor for the economic boom/spurt being witnessed for some time now will like continue to be reaped for only the next 3 to 5 decades. Of course our productivity levels are among the lowest in world, and aspirtion for excellence (technology creation or innovation, Olympic or Nobel prizes)continues to be at poor levels among our youth which is now enjoying frivolties without accumulating creative energies.
Isjtifo does raise a good point especially when it comes to corruption but one way to reduce corruption is by decreasing the size of the government a smaller government will lead to more economic liberalization a greater private sector and less bureaucrats also less red tape.
Govt. has become a 'white elephant' with its very monstrous size and astronomical cost to the exchequer since govt was used for "public services" merely as a major field for employment. Now it is also viewed as a vote bank by all parties without exception. Most doubt if it will ever be possible to downsize this gigantic 'machinery' (an entity w/o. a conscience toward society at large, unresponsive, lethargic, and dancing to the politician for their own corruption to thrive and lethargy).
The reality of future India after a few decades, will be that of great anarchy, manifold increase in corruption (already India is at the top of the list on that attribute) and violence due to religious divide (Christian evangelism being a major additional facor for that divide) and terrorism since Islamist Jehad is likely to be too elusive for being contained. Democracy is a sham and is unable to tap the human resources optimally due to impermissible levels of corruption, political and adminve.
Probably it is due to the younger population of India, Congress has come to lead a stronger coalition with bigger support than before from national parties (uprooting those with mere casteist and linguistic loyalties). If the same youth organizes itself, including direct action, to help govt. to root out political and admin corruption and lethargy, destroy bogus NGOs, and flush out domestic terrorists colluding with global outfits like al Qaeda, India can make accelerated progress.
B. The political, social and cultural changes, again, arguably have been more on the wrong side, and despite these, the younger population (which is higher than in the rest of world) has taken advantage of the numerous technological (mostly automation) advances under a liberalized economic regime, and was the most important factor to bring about steep economic growth. Indian population will also will soon begin ageing due to lopsided materialism.
Arguably, the economic effervescence in India that is actually occurring are due to a fortuitous interaction of factors described thus: (a) Indian leadership gaged economic growth by following the Russian socialistic model for far too long since Independence (1947), until the World Bank forced pragmatic trade, industrial and economic liberalisation, actually a normalization process.(b) There has been unchecked growth of population along with high (and unmeasured) rates of unemployment. CONTD.
This book is available in both official and cheaper versions on pavements (+ better run public libraries). Of course its rare quality lies in the fact that it makes a refreshing diversion with positive thoughts on capability and future of India, and this quality sets it apart from the absolute trash based on cynicism though put in spicy languge by many of India's present genre of esay writers turned authors who make a fast book with third rate stuff that appeals as light reading and sells max.
