@FUCK202 My mum has this exact model. The cds are put into a magazine in the boot and controlled by the on board computer. And yes, that is a tape player.

@MrLochanOra awesome about the tape slot, but you have to get out and open the boot/trunk (depending where you are from) and put your cd in?

@FUCK202 Yes, you have to open the boot and a small side panel to access the the cd changer. But the magazine holds up to 6 cds (I think) so you can just put a few different cds in and select the one you want with the on board computer but it would be a lot easier if the cd changer was in the front somewhere.

You would think so, but no, not the case. In my dad's '05 545i, they moved the changer to the glovebox, and it was not safe to try and change while driving... The best solution would be to make an in dash cd changer, like Honda used to do...

Hey um..you might want to think twice about that.

Based on my experience the 2007 BMW X5 was a horrific buy.

My wife and I replaced her Rang Rover with a X5 4.8, we had the car for four weeks, and I needed new tires.

I thought this was odd, so I took the car to the dealer and the replaced my tires and billed me.

Another few weeks go by, the tires have are shot, I was very confused I took it once again to the dealer, they told me my car need new brakes, for a 3 month old car!

I have to say, this is a beautiful x5! Though if the price i saw on the floor is correct, 28,000 for a 2004 is ridiculous! I have a 2000 bmw 740il, it has the same options the x5 has in the inside of the car. I hope they can lower the price and sell it to someone who treats it well. Great review by the way!

@vandreadparty Thanks a lot I appreciate that, I use the music for demonstration purposes and have done it for a long long time to show quality of the stereo, that's pretty much the reason, I just choose random radio songs. some people argue you can't hear the differences on the camera but get a good set of speakers and you can hear a bid difference!

I do get turned down on occasion but I have like 11 or 12 dealers now that I go to on a regular basis, as least till school starts haha. My family's place is not near where I'm living now, about 2 hrs away, so we don't know these. I love going around and checking out new vehicles and I will always mention the dealership for letting me do what I do, it's a lot of fun :)
