a reason he was big is like in SMG 2 when he swallowed grand stars which, if you notice, look like shine sprites from this game, and one Mario defeated him the shine sprite was knocked out of him.

(little Professor guy from Luigi's Mansion) he is supposed to be the good guy so bowser Jr. saying he gave it to him he really means he stole it from E.
