wow. this is so emotional, and so beautiful. gorillaz, you truly are an inspiration to all ambitious musicians like me. I'm 12 years old, and when i'm old enough, i want to be a singer song writer, a bassist (getting a bass for my birthday) a pianist, and be able to play the drums.

I was listening to this at my sister's house on full blast and she said it sounded like noise (it was the ending). I am so entranced by it though. Normally that many instrumental sounds drives me mad, but this is so perfectly orchestrated, i'sound beautifully chaotic.

when i hear this song i think of the beginning part being the "calm before the storm" before an epic battle, then building up to the actual battle itself, like a planet trying to stay alive from an invasion, at around 2:50. i cant describe it too well but thats what i think everytime i hear this

badass song by the way. still listen to it after all these years.
