I do know what you mean by tape going walk-a-bout. I have taken to using the 3M Blue Painters tape (60 day, low/medium adhesion). It doesn't tear my papers & I can leave it on for a couple of weeks, it's been through the Cuttlebug & not torn the paper/cardstock when being removed & has the bonus is that the kids don't pinch it 'cause it's bright blue.
