    Over what period of time? Once? My electric bill is $125 a month in a 1br apartment. That mean's this would pay for itself in slightly under 5 years.

    Of course everything relies on wind speed. 11mph constant is about 1kW/h.

    With an installed price of $5,000 for 5 kW we get cost benefit that makes the installation work.
