I totally agree man. I really loved how Buronson developed him up to the very end. I remember when I found out how Rei beat Yuda in the manga and I was in disbelief...my brother tried to explain it to me over and over and I couldn't understand until I finally read it and it was truly epic!! You're dying, but you managed to defy gravity with harrowing martial prowess, you come to terms with the asshole that screwed over your woman and say goodbye to her like a hero. Epic.

you know, i always pictured fist of the north star (or hokuto no ken) going with this song. except, you hit the spot with making rei's life/death the theme of the song.

also, i don't know if you listen to much hip hop, but tupac sampled this song to make "until the end of time", which seems to fit the 1986 movie. if you look up the song on youtube, maybe you'll agree.

Amazing Video!!! You have a talent for expressing the message behind the Hokuto No Ken series. In my humble opinion this story that Buronson and Hara created is the greatest Martial Arts tale ever.

Rei was more than a side character, he also brought Kenshiro towards his true purpose as Fist of the North Star. Keep up with the these truly amazing and inspiring videos.
