@fulf1 there are some extremely good weathering books available as well as other subjects such as landscaping and building locos. They will show you how to easily weather stuff to a standard as good as in this video. Highly recommended! I suggest going to the Warley Model Railway show at the NEC next month (November), you can buy books there... and youd love the show too!

Since the video was made we have done a lot more work on the scenery.
It now also has telegraph poles and wires amoung other things.

HO is 3.5mm to the foot scale whilst OO is 4mm to the foot scale

yes no extra weight, apart from weathering and adding the sound its straight from the box.
