"Why Korea shouldn't have reached the 2002 WC 4th place"
and you'll see some dirty play by Korea. You're just being a hypocrite by what you're claiming.
Just stop because you're making Koreans look disrespectful.
You have nothing to back up your claims. You're just talking crap. You need to grow up instead of acting like a child. Korea played well but Japan played better on the day! It's as simple as that. Stop being a god damn sore loser.
Speaking of World Cup2002,You should watch this video!!!
"Dirty manner italy vs korea"
This video, "Why Korea shouldn't have reached the 2002 WC 4th place", was made by japanese right winger and the same video was recycled 50 times under different nationalities.
That's typical behavior of dirty tricks by sneaky japanese who are always jealous about Korean soccer.
Korea was placed 4th place at World Cup2002.
The title you say "why korea...."does'nt make sense...
Korea beat Japan in 14 out of 23 baseball games in the last 11 years (61%). Currently, Korea is No.2 in the world (Japan is No.3) according to the IBAF. Korea even beat Japan in 1982, the very first year Korean baseball league was established. However, Korean players never play that dirty.
Professional Baseball league
Japan: since 1934 (12 teams) : 75 years
Korea: since 1982 (8 teams) : 27 years
Japanese know they have to do dirty tricks to win Korea!
Because the japanese can't overcome the korean team in normal way, the japanese lobbied WBC event organizer to give advantage to the japanese team in controlling the game schedule.
Even more, the american referees gaved advantage in the japanese pitchers' strike zone against the Korean batters.
I'm Korean-American but how is this bad manner. It's simply accident although it was very ugly because it was just seeding round and they tried to injure 1st batter in the line-up. However, it would make more sense if you can put Nakajima's attempt to intentionally push second baseman for him to fail double-play attempt. now THAT is a dirty play uncalled for with very dirty manner.
These are normal cross plays if you have not played baseball. In fact, this play was acclaimed to be a good block in a US TV show. This is up in one of the videos in Youtube, too.
Nakajima could not care less about the guy's head. He is not even looking at it. Complain to the company that made the cheap helmet, instead.
I don't know why SOME Koreans keep on making these silly accusations. They must be so miserable in their real lives.
I'm not talking about the sliding to 2nd base because he ran into it. I'm talking about the act where Nakajima tried to push the 2nd baseman intentionally while he was throwing a ball to first base for a double play. About the helmet, I watch MLB and those stuff happens all the time. And yes, you're right. Helmet was very fragile.
What's the point of such a stupid fucking video like this. All it does is spawn more 'fucking japs' and 'fucking gooks' bs arguing.
I guess this is expected from someone called 'CrookedTeethNips'...you're just another one of these idiots (in this case a korean one) that spends all day trying to start shit. Doesn't this arguing just stress you out?
I'm Japanese, I don't hate Koreans but I hate those that say anti-japanese shit and the same applies for stupid Japanese that say anti-korean shit.
This is BASEBALL. What the hell does this have to do with history?! It's a baseball game! This is not politics! Korea always brings politics into sport which is what annoys me.
Japan played a good and fair game and Korea played a good game too. The ball accidentally hit the Korean players head, it happens. Don't straight away assume that it was intentional. Also, the Korean player that dived to the base head first took a risk...everyone knows diving head first is dangerous. He was unlucky.
Japan played fairly. They didn't do anything wrong.
What about when Korea put the flag in the mound when they beat Japan in the earlier match? That was EXTREMELY disrespectful.
Korea played well but on the day Japan played better.
I don't know why that Japanese player grabbed the Korean player's leg but it was stupid to do that. That is the only thing I'm not impressed by. But that is only 1 player.
I know about all the history, but that doesn't mean it should be brought into the game. This is baseball and if you want to improve relations, bringing in politics won't make it any better.
Anyway...I want to see Korea and Japan get along....and I'm Japanese...
You are cool. I totally agree with what you are saying. I wish there were more Japanese nationals that think like you. Baseball is baseball. Life goes on. But it's really the way a couple of what looked like blatant foul plays were non-chalantly ignored that ignited Koreans. I watched game and Japan played really well, more than what the final scores showed. All Koreans are upset about is the way Japan seems to be covering up what is clearly unjustified. U R the first one I found to be unbiased.
I didn't see Japan involve history or politics at all. I saw Korea doing that though with the flag they put in the mound.
The Korean batter got hit in the head. It happens, which is why you wear a helmet. The Korean batter smashed his head into the Japanese player's leg. It can happen which is why you should dive feet first. These are all legitimate scenario's and it is unsporty to accuse Japan of intentionally doing these things just because you lost.
and in fact, in the online communities of Korea websites, there were plenty of people who were insisting to put japanese flag and korean flag together after the final game if Korea wins..so that we both countries could have better feelings toward each other... this is just the way for koreans to celebrate their own goodnesss. it really has got nothing to do with discriminating japanese or whatsoever..
i am talking about the pulling leg of korean player..i am not saying beanball or defending his own second base is bad thing to do.
and u wonder why koreans involve history and politics into sports, whereby japan does not?
it is because Korea is the victim and Japan is not, if you know any single thing about the history between these two countries, you would probably figure out why this thing happen..
Korea always had the stronger spirit in games than japan.

In second base.
This is common sense of baseball.

and korea to have peaceful feeling toward each other..
but why did japanese players had to play like that/?
worldbasebalIclassic 2 years ago
In Japan, whether "not aforethought" or anything else , if pitcher being hit with a pitch, pitcher apologize.
In the first place, We and Japanese players(SAMURAI JAPAN) can't image aforethought "hit by a pitch".
In Korean, are there aforethought "hit by a pitch"?
You should be ashamed of yourself!

yeah..the final game was really gorgeous.
i loved it. it was the best game in WBC 2009.
and beanball always happens.
in fact, koreans did it to japanese last WBC too. and the korean player of course took the risk of putting his head first at the second base.
but what about the japanese player which was pulling the leg of the korean player?
i mean..come on.. why did have to play like this? it is just sports...

in fact, the one that koreans hate

shit..hope this same thing doesn't happen

It can happen in every games.
But at the moment the japanese pitcher hit the head on purpose...intentionally...
Well what's the use saying "sorry" after he did it by intention?lol
