okay I'm sorry but its origami, its does not matter what kind of paper you use people! Fuck it, you don't even need to use paper, yesterday I made a crane out of a square tortilla warp, then I ate it! Some paper is easier to work with than others, but really its not that much of a difference.

@RubiNumNumNum No, Ryujin's scales are made up of what appear to be open/closed sinks. If you look carefully, the scales "stick" out. Unlike the fish in this video.

At 5:49: There is a new pleat (the 4th pleat) and it crosses two existing pleats (1st and 3rd pleats). At 5:25 I'm arranging the paper as if this new pleat was made before the 1st pleat (unfold partially the 1st pleat, fold the 4th pleat and refold the 1st pleat)

This same pattern repeats over the whole body

Work on the scales (5:05) with white side up for a coloured body and white head

(don't worry about the side during the pre-creasing)

You'll have to make another reverse fold on the top part of the tail to make it coloured
