your car is not allowed to use LATCH in the middle of the back seat. You need to use the seat belt in the middle or move the seat to either one of the outer seats. LATCH is only for the two outer seats. Also, the latches were installed upsidedown! The latchs should be down and NOT up. Please seek out a professional car seat tech for your installation. There are several mistakes that could be deadly.
inspected and was given the thumbs up! The latches are actually upside down on both sides. And the seat was installed rear facing. (the camera was pointed from the back of the car.
your latch on the left is upside down, also rear facing as long as possible is reccomended, please go to a local car seat check to make sure you are using it correctly.
make sure you have latch in the middle (6 total latch anchors).
Most cars do not allow latch in the center and chevy only allows it if there are specific anchors for that seating spot.
my dh's 2007 cobalt has latch in the center, but I don't believe the 2005's do... and from your video, it looks like you are borrowing outboard anchors.
make sure the base moves less than 1" at the beltpath and that the recline is appropriate (most vehicle seats slant and the leveler helps with that)
thank you for this
