Now that was highly informative. Thank you for showing me two new recipes. To think that I used to think lentils were only for REALLY hard times. Well, we live and learn. Cheers, guy!
Great video...couldn't find cheesecake instant pudding at my local grocery store, but I tried your receipt with banana cream pie pudding and it was freakin' great!!! Also tried it with chocolate pudding and smashed chocolate graham crackers...awesome!!!
All in all a very fine video. But I would also suggest that you level your video camera after you put it on the tripod - that way the lake behind you in this one won't be sliding off "downhill" to the right side (either that, or make it WAY off level so that it becomes obvious that it was intentional.)
Wonderful video, very useful. One of the best meal ideas ever. I too found your videos through Minibull Designs. I sincerely hope that you continue to stay motivated enough to make more.
Personally, I have enjoyed your videos, and have learned a thing or two. So, I shall say my thanks for your contribution to food, frolic, and fun. Happy hangin' !
Thank you B5-- excellent video series and I am really impressed with your new videos. The sound and light quality in the new videos are outstanding. I stumbled across your videos thanks to Tinny at Minibull Designs. You mentioned the double ziplock vacuum sealing method but did not explain why you chose to do it. Would you mind explaining? I assume it is for freezer bag rehydration, but I would like to verify that.
@01fullauto I use the double bag for 2 reasons. The 1st is to have the freezer bag option. 2nd is as an additional layer to keep the vacuum bag from getting punctured with the dishes that could break the vacuum. Thanks for watching.
This looks amazing! I will definitely be adding this to the try-out menu. I will try it with a diet coke (I am a diabetic). Might have to add splenda to the onions....donno. I was also thinking that having this setup over night in a container and then adding the gram crackers might be a great "breekfest from the hammick" (said in a Scottish accent).
Great job! I always love hearing your ideas. Keep up the great work!
I have recently started preparing and dehydrating trail meals. Your videos are some of the best I have seen on the topic. No wonder I subscribed to you.
Great video. I'm going to try this tomarrow. Trying to get back into hiking/camping after toooo many years on the couch. You're giving me lots of reasons to get with it.
Just left the market with all the ingredient for the lentils & rice and noticed I forgot the cheesecake pudding! Guess no dessert tonight...:(
I'll let ya know how it turns out on HF.net. Tyvm
