  • Aim 7 kill mig

  • If you ever talk to the crew chiefs of the F-4 , they all complain that aircraft had way way too many parts and was a nightmare to keep up. It required 35~40 hours of maintenance per flight hour and stuff broke all the time if the plane was not flown at least once a week. Great once it was in the air but, the repair time was stupidly silly... Losing two officers at a pop is why all fighters are now single seat planes.... Just my 2 cents.

  • @stevenabb something like 80% of all visual contacts of enemy aircraft in Vietnam were made by backseaters.

  • i dont know, f4 is an overrated aircraft. Its ability to dogfight was qutie poor compare to the mig 21 and it NVA pilots

  • @georgepatton93

And yet, the F-4 had a positive kill/loss ratio.

I guess the F-4 pilots lacked your profound insights.

  • @Waltham1892 im just saying that in the early years of the war the f4 is just not that good (depends too much on unreliable missiles techs) until the pilots have better training and the faults clear out

  • @georgepatton93

Combat is about knowing the strengths of your weapon and making the enemy fight your fight.

The F-4 did have unreliable BVR missiles, but the Mig-21 had none. The US advantage in IR missiles off set the Mig-21's gun advantage until the E model came out.

The F-4 also had a speed and T/W ratio advantage at low levels, where most combat took place.

While no one is ever going to call the F-4 a dogfighter, it never had a negative kill ratio vrs the Mig-21.

  • @georgepatton93: Sure, Operation Bolo? Operation Rimon 20?

  • TO ALL TROLLS TROLLING OVER WHICH OF THESE 2 AIRCRAFT IS BETTER

put a US pilot in a MiG and put an NVA pilot in an F-4, the American wins. Crew training wins dogfights

  • No smoke - no good :)

  • The main problem with the F-4 as a dogfighter was its lack of an internal cannon. An external gun pod was added later. The radar guided Sparrow anti-aircraft missile was also proven to be useless. The F-4's only effective weapon proved to be the old Sidewinder. Still a great aircraft.

  • The F-4 originally was to have its entire wings canted up but they just did the tips instead, hence the striking wing profile. The aerodynamics of the F-4 weren't all that good, but its two massive engines totally compensated for this. We'd burn a hot soup for fuel in Vietnam, which gave us an extra 4% speed but it burned up the engines faster. Great airplane.

  • How much B52 of USAF drop in VietNam war. how much F4 and F105.................. drop

  • @tommygun109

Apparently not enough to keep us from forcing you into a cease fire and giving the asian continent the finger.

You didn't win anything, I ain't even mad broskie.

  • The F4 was proof positive that with enough raw thrust even a brick can fly.

  • KILLER SOUNDTRACK BABY!

  • Call it what ever , it kicked may a ass in the Nam .I love um .

  • Excelent video, loved the tunes too!

  • LOL top flight: MIG-17 - 01/1950 F-4 - 03/1958 a difference of almost 10 years!!! removed from service: MIG-17 - 1970 (40 years XDDD !!!) F-4 - 2003 top flight: MIG-19 - 05/1952 MIG-21 - 06/1956 do not compare with the old! compare the equivalent - MIG-21 !!!
  • @0yeah1mFkU

But the Mig-21 sucked thai cock.

  • @LgndryThndr

O RLY? Then you suck dick Godzilla! =3

  • @0yeah1mFkU

I'm sorry I can't hear you over the fact the F4 is still in use today and the Mig21 was shot down so many times outside of Vietnam it was hilarious.

Migs were considered rare and the only time the NVA ever scrambled them was when it was in their favor, they were turtling behind SAMs and other crap.

open in the air, Avionics and energy management bested the MIG every time.

The F4 moved on to defend first world nations, the MIG was used by butthurt muslims.

  • 1. Read my text about the difference in years and aircraft series.

    2. MIGs reasonably compared only when the pilots of Russian! And when we compare F pilots Americans. Vietnamese amateurs in the sky!

    3. This video is just an advertisement! On several successful flights of hundreds of failures.

If you listen to the American media, their planes are almost never brought down. In fact, much worse.

  • @0yeah1mFkU

    1. The F-4 phantom still outperforms those craft and later soviet airframes.

    2. The F-4 phantom can still outperform many late soviet aircraft.

    3. The IAF have proven that unshackled, the F-4 phantom can outperform late soviet Aircraft.

    4. If you listen to whiny third world countries their planes are almost never splashed despite evidence pointing to the contrary.

Had the russians pulled their advisors off Vietnamese airfields, they'd have been fucked.

    LOL POLITICS.

  • @LgndryThndr

    1-4 LOL WHAT? XDDD

3 IAF call as many top U.S. aircraft, for the sake of public relations of the American military equipment. it is their goal of

4 Example - as you naive: Think about why removed from service F-117, which recently appeared in the U.S. Army. You mean 11 F-117 were not knocked down or knocked out? Indeed, the evidence was prodemonstrirovanypo all media, and photo, and video, and pieces of aircraft. Made64, 11 of them lost - best of the best ROFL XDDD

  • @0yeah1mFkU

what you just wrote, is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.

Everyone here reading this is now dumber for having read it.

I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.

  • @LgndryThndr

Are you a troll. Very fat troll.

If you are considered the norm, when in every seven planes a straying or falling ... and this country flight calls one of the best in the world ....

Believe that the F best in the world. Believe deceitful public relations program in Dogfight.

For you - just a zombie that's true. XDDD

  • @0yeah1mFkU

That still wasn't english and it apparently takes 2 weeks for little insignificant islands like rasta land to load youtube.

Whats it like being in the tourism trade?

  • @LgndryThndr

you run out of arguments you continue to troll...

I'm sorry, I do not feed the trolls.

  • @0yeah1mFkU

you run out of arguments you continue to troll...

I'm sorry, I do not feed the trolls.

  • @LgndryThndr

For example: F-117A was shot down 18 times in Baghdad, three were shot down in Yugoslavia (one of a hand grenade). Therefore, it was taken out of service!

This is the latest stealth aircraft!

It's funny how you naive! ))))

  • @0yeah1mFkU

Only one F-117 (AF ser. no. 82-0806)[38] was lost to enemy action. It was shot down during a mission against the Army of Yugoslavia on 27 March 1999, during Operation Allied Force.

And it was a fluke hit too, nice try Broskie?

  • right: hand grenade-gun :)

  • @0yeah1mFkU

    Cool story broskov.

  • @0yeah1mFkU

    Cool story broskov.

  • @LgndryThndr well, no shit migs weren't scrambled all the time. why would they be? war is about ratfucking, not being polite. iads and all.

that said the vietnam-era f-4's avionics weren't as simple as wov would imply. hotas came later. switching between aim-9s and -7s took like 6 discrete steps, etc. the f-4 is a great plane and one of my favorites but the usaf never quite seemed to figure out how to fight it during the war

  • @stopthatimmediately

    Nice strawman.

Migs avoided combat with the F4 at every chance they got.

  • @LgndryThndr well obviously didn't since the us admits 121 losses to migs, but anyway this is a bizarre thing to troll about

  • @stopthatimmediately

What does the loss of F4's have to do with whether or not Migs avoided Phantoms?

  • @LgndryThndr i dunno but it would seem to suggest that "every chance they got" is a pointless exaggeration and that you're not that familiar with the history of air combat during the vietnam period or only interested in trolling russophiles but whatever, it's ok, this is youtube and nobody really cares anyway

  • @stopthatimmediately

    >Rhetoric

Yeah I didn't think you had anything to bring to the table. Especially when using the migs altitude to avoid american aircraft unless it was fortunate for them led to the invention of the Aim9.

Like it or not, the F4 went on to actually do shit and the Fishbed became a muslim coffin.

Shouldn't get mad bro, it's just history.

  • @LgndryThndr i'm not sure what your point is. that's like a mig pilot calling a phantom driver a coward for not turning with him. you fight to your advantage and whatever, this is an oddly specific troll and i don't like it

  • @stopthatimmediately

    >Phantom driver

    stopped reading right there.

  • @LgndryThndr i didn't realize there was something wrong with that usage, but ok. it's your life. best of luck riling up russians and muslims on the internet.

  • @stopthatimmediately

Hating on Phantoms and then bitching about them on a video.

    Makes sense to me!

  • @LgndryThndr who's hating? phantoms are awesome! they've always been one of my favorite planes. i was more or less talking about their combat employment during vietnam, which was problematic at times.

  • @stopthatimmediately

More like telling me that the Vietnamese did not employ guerilla warfare even in the air.

There is a reason Operation Bolo was hilarious.

  • In BVR, however, the fight goes to the upgraded Phantom. It could be called anything from a 4-4.5 generation fighter in this form, and approaches the capability of a Beagle. I would also dearly love to see a Viper carry 18 Mk.82 bombs, 2400lbs external fuel, and 4 AMRAAMs. It's not going to happen.

  • @superskullmaster the F-4 is a long-range heavy strike fighter, not a dogfighter. Takeoff distance is largely irrelevant. Any military airfield is going to have a mile or two of runway, this is needed for safety reasons. The minimum runway length the Thunderbirds (F-16A) accept is more than enough for a Rhino. In a dogfight, the F-16 can be better. However, I may add that the F-4's wing loading is lower than an F-16's.

  • @Panos9133 no, just going off of some of the HAF's experience. Check out a few videos and retrofit specs on the AUP 2000 and then we'll talk.

  • @Wien1938 WRONG. An F-4E AUP 2000 is VASTLY superior to an F-16. Same avionics, heavier payload, two-man crew, better radar, more reliable...the list goes on...

  • @Porty1119 are you completeley stupid???

  • @Porty1119 Higher fuel consupmption, longer takeoff and landing distance, horrible turning radius, low power to weight ratio, low acceleration.... the list goes on. The F-4 is outclassed by the F-16 in so many ways.

  • @Porty1119

Longer life capability - until the F-16 is fitted with conformal fuel tanks (which the F-4 cannot carry).

The F-16C can carry AIM-120 as well. It can also carry modern jamming equipment, carry out the same air-to-ground missions and will out perform almost any fighter in a dogfight.

Not to mention that the F-4 is vastly more expensive to fly and maintain than the F-16.

Compared to the 4th generation fighters, the F-4 remains heavy and clumsy with a rapidly ageing airframe.

  • @Wien1938

    >Not to mention that the F-4 is vastly more expensive to fly and maintain than the F-16.

Everything was fine and then you rolled your fat ass out here and shat this fucking eye sore right on the comments.

If this was the case, why are the israelis updating their phantoms, again despite owning F16's?

And I wouldn't send an F16 to do shit for AtG since it has payload limitations. The F4 can carry more bombs than most conventional fighters today.

    Nigga you went full MIKOYAN.

  • @LgndryThndr

Looking at the list of IAF improvements to their stock of F-4s, the improvements seem to be aimed at keeping the planes competitive.

If the F-4 is such a superior plane to the F-16, then why has the IDF bought more F-16s and bought F-15s? Why in the 1970s did the IAF aim to acquire these more modern warplanes when F-4s were still being produced? The upgrade programme at the end of the 1980s happened, not because of a mythical superiority over the F-16 but to keep the stock going.

  • @Wien1938

Ofcourse they're keeping the planes competative, it's a fucking fifty year old fucking jet.

Because the IAF isn't going to sit and not take interest in next gen fighter craft, thats like saying why were the russians interested in our aircraft despite it being the same jet in korea.

And I'm not talking about the 70's upgrades, I'm talking about Israels F-4 2020 Terminator, with 111 airframes built.

The F-4 is to jets as the M1911 is to Guns.

    Nice strawman by the way.

  • Those old GE engines smoke like a damn MiG-29.

  • "was in someway an answer to the MiG problem" Well then tell me, please tell me why the F-5 Tiger today, is used to simulate modern day MiG and Sukhoi aircraft at Fallon, when it could have been used to dominate in 'Nam, instead of being an attack aircraft? The F-5 Tiger is still today, a slippery little fighter that gave an F-15 Eagle a run for its money during testing! They were sitting on a winner fighter the whole time!

  • @RacerXGTO

    A couple of reasons.

    1. No BVR engagement capability. The Navy F4s primary task was fleet defence, intercepting long range Soviet bombers before these could launch cruise missiles against the carriers. Similarly the Air Force used them for nuclear bomber intercept.

    2. Range; the F5 simply didn't have the legs to get up to North Vietnam, loiter, dogfight and dodge SAMs.

    3. Multi-mission capability. The F4 can do everything but the F5 was a trainer/dogfighter.

  • @Wien1938 Valid points. I believe improvements could have been made, however, not in the McNamara era.

  • @RacerXGTO

Well, as far as improvements to the F-4 series could go, the F-4E was about as good as it got. The next generation (F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-18) were infinitely superior to either the F-4 or F-5.

You are right that the F-5 was a very capable light fighter and superior to the MiG-21 in a turning fight.

  • The F-4 proves the theory that a brick can fly with enough power.

  • Call me crazy but I love the F4 even more than the F-teen series, it's just got that old school raw power about it

  • @Treblaine So does the F-5 for me then

  • were all fighter planes fitted with cameras?

  • This clip is from the documentary Great Planes - General Dynamics F-16 Falcon.

You can find it on a torrent download.

  • I need to know this song...anyone?

  • My dad was a RIO in one of these planes, he flew over 100 combat missions. Which mostly was there for ground support.

  • @gmoneyq that's nice :)

  • I wonder haw many reels of footage they went through in order to get two shots of missiles hitting their targets :-)

  • @brtshstel

I wonder how many Atolls actually hit their mark, OH RIGHT ONLY 3.

  • @LgndryThndr I never said Atolls were good. In fact, they were worse than any American missile in Vietnam. All in all, the Sidewinder wasn't too bad, but the Sparrow was awful.

  • @brtshstel

I find it has about the same failure rate as the aim9

hell most of time time I hate using the IR because that means I have to go through the bullshit of tailing a mig for a tone.

  • @LgndryThndr I'm not talking about a video game. I'm talking about the statistics from actual combat in Vietnam.

  • @brtshstel

And I'm talking about the aces that seem to do fine and the elderly I see every day who struggle over something as simple as an ATM.

Hell, the internet is mind boggling to them, whose to say its not user fault?

  • Screw the Migs,The Phantom f4's were the Meanest MUTHA FUKKA'S.............

  • F4 is the best third gen fighter ever built in my opinion remained in service (in other countries) until the late 90's beast machine no doubt

  • @Elfulcrum777 It's still in service in Greece, Turkey Germany, Japan, South Korea, Egypt, Iran and I beleive Saudi Arabia. The US and the UK were the only users to retire it in the 1990's the last USAF F-4 was retired in 1999 or so.

the Isrealis kept it in service until the early 2000's.

  • @Elfulcrum777 Some are still in service today.

  • Comment removed

  • @Stover36 only to be outfitted with remote controlled systems to be shot down for training of our younger pilots and for weapons testing. No US F-4 will see combat again unless the shit really hits the fan

  • @ZanderMckael What about F-4 Phantom Terminator 2020? I think they are battle ready.

  • @Stover36 They are but the terminator is practically an Israeli fighter all in itself. The F-4s there where upgraded by the Israelis themselves and have created an almost brand new kind of aircraft. Like i said though no US f-4 will ever see combat unless the shit really hits the fan. Although the Terminators are really cool aircraft and I didn't know that many people knew about them

  • @ZanderMckael exactly, when the shit hits the fan, the shit really will hit the fan, the boneyard aint gonna be a boneyard anymore, and everything serviceable will be thrown into service, and we'll have a shitfight on our hands, so when the shit hits the fan, join the air force, cos you may get to fly a mustang against a MiG

  • @MilitaryAircraft101 As much as i love the mustang and its highly impressive flight history i wouldn't bet too much money on the mustang Vs. a Mig...... If i was piloting the mustang however it would be a totally different story. I've flown with a couple of guys who own their own war birds and some had the mustangs. They said that pushing that bird to full power on takeoff was a suicide wish because of the amount of power in that engine! hahaha although vs a turbine your kinda fucked....

  • @ZanderMckael thats what i'm saying, the us gov will whack an engine into anything with guns and send it to the enemy, tens of thousands of aircraft will swarm the skies, then we have a problem, we may have lots of aircraft, and we may outnumber them, but pistons v turbines, there have only been a few kills... but you never know, we'll also have all the retired jets, f-86, f-4, f-111, f-14, b-52, c-130 and all the retired aircraft, so we'll have a very large infantry, but could they perform?

  • f-4 is one of my favorites such a awsome plane :) (F-16 my fav)

  • @demarch77 the music started off good till it just started sounding like a 70s porno

  • The MIG 17 didnt do any evasive manuvers just flew in a straight line didnt bank or anything probably didnt even drop chaff must of been a gook pilot

  • @TheRalphus666 well they didn't have chaff, or flare on the mig-17 plus he was probably in a high G turn and had lost a lot of energy and was going to slow to take effective evasive action

  • @Elfulcrum777 Well the russians should of equipped it with chafe, thats a fuck up on the design right there

  • @TheRalphus666 The F4 phantoms didn't have that either, missiles where a new invention so counter measures hadn't really developed that far yet

  • @Elfulcrum777

the f4 phantoms actually were equipped with four chaff bombs, im not sure about the mig though

  • @redcia48 Well the MIG-21 could be equipped with chaff and flare dispenser i am not sure how many did anyways missiles were new so counter measures weren't fully developed

  • Good Kill, Good Kill!

  • Excellent shot of the gun-pod ejecting cartridges at the start, quite a rare configuration over the history of fighter/bombers.

  • fap fap fap, nothing like seeing crispy commies

  • Comment removed

  • @A503B201 Except maybe seeing George W Bush actually do some fighting during Vietnam instead of 'co-incidentally' being 'drafted' into the ANG then not even feeling humble to be so lucky and doing his service safely like a man and a patriot, but instead going AWOL, for fuck's sake! Yeah, those Commies are far less of a man each of them than GWB. There's nothing political in what I just said, note that.

  • @TVismyopiate Hi Dan Rather! Your October Surprise didn't work did it? LOL. What a moron you are. How 'bout your wonderful partner William Jefferson Blythe Clinton (who, for Chinese campaign monery) allowed Loran to sell Missle Guidence Systems to China and putting their Missle Program 12 years ahead to be able to target US cities finally. Let's also talk about his lying to get deferred from serving. They hang traitors, but love him?

  • @ASurvivor1 ?? What are you on about? Clinton is a drug-dealer's friend (literally) and worse. So what? G.W. Bush started TWO wars, Clinton none. You didn't see Clinton pretending to be a member of the armed forces on a carrier deck, cosy-up to the military, then fuck them over with unwinnable wars, whilst never having served even a cushy number himself, did you? No matter how much of a prick Clinton is (no pun intended). Stop being partisan to a fault and start thinking for yourself!

  • @ASurvivor1 Meaning I respect the people who went and fought a hundred times more than those who dodged the draft whilst not being seen to dodge the draft due to connections, which is called being a pussy and a hypocrite where I come from. Just because you support military personnel doesn't make you a republican nor being anti-war make you a democrat, which is what you were strongly hinting at. Those are two sides of the same blood-coloured coin, man.

  • @TVismyopiate He was only humble when his dealer gave him a couple of extra grams when he bought an ounce of coke"The Ralphus comments are purely fictional"

  • This is really horrible you know...Watching people getting fried in their own cockpitl. Christ!

  • i really want to see russian videos taking down american's sorry asses down, not this shit...

  • @ivanlunaelizarraras We would show you, trust me, but they all got destroyed with the Berlin Wall. Maybe you can recover them, it only takes a few Rubles. Just sell a few nuclear warheads to a renegade dictator and you should come up with plenty of cash.

  • ITT BUTTHURTS WHO LOST THE COLD WAR

  • F-4? F-5?

  • Sparrow at 1:02 if I'm not mistaken

thats too much distance for an Aim-9

  • At 0:48, is that reticle the missle's boresight?

  • Its an F-4 Phantom 2

  • I find it HIGHLY interesting, the USN used F-5 at Fighter Weapons School to simulate various modern MiG aircraft up against F-18 and F-14 fighters. AND, during F-15 ACM, two F-5's beat one F-15 Eagle during testing.

Yet, the F-5's role in Viet-Nam was an attack aircraft. Next the the F-8, they were sitting on another MiG master the whole time!

  • FYI, it's spelled "library"

  • the Phantom was not a turning fighter but a speed fighter, which I would rather fly because if your fast no one can catch you, if you turn you slow down really fast if you don't know what your doing. F4 phantom to me is still as aw some as the modern planes today

  • More than 8,000 US Airmen were killed

  • hmmm, how many us planes was shoot down in that war?=)

  • @meffer1111

    The mig sucks

  • @LgndryThndr, the mig 17 rules!

  • @ImTheMightyOne

The F14 has never been shot down.

    the mig has.

  • @LgndryThndr,

Mig 31 has never been shot down.

  • @ImTheMightyOne

because its never seen any real action.

Also the mig31 is compareable to the cat except the cat has better all round manueverability.

A mig31 would fire and runaway, praying it lands a hit.

  • @LgndryThndr,

MIG 31 never sen an real action LMAO.

Thats pure bullshit, MIG 31's fly deep deep into NATO airspace.

    Fully nuclear armed.

Thats why the Ukraine and Canada regualar as clock work shits its pants.

MIG 31 jammer is so powerful you wont even see it.

  • @ImTheMightyOne

    No such thing.

  • @ImTheMightyOne You are a fucking idiot!

  • @sakoshooter48

he's some sort of russian troll.

The MIG31 is a raiding craft. Designed to speed in fire and runaway like a bitch.

just like the mig17 and just like the mig21.

in terms of range the MIG31 might have the F-14, but its manuever ability and countermeasures could easily throw a 31 off.

He's basically supporting an Aircraft that mimicks the F-4.

SHIT DOGFIGHTER, BUT OH GEE IT SURE HAS RADAR.

even the F-4 was atleast able to yo yo and cartwheel from danger.

  • @LgndryThndr,

MIG 31 is far from an F4.

Its the fastest "In service" jet in the world.

Its ment to dump its missiles and bug out before the enemy even gets in range to fire its own missiles.

Proving it has the edge over all of the US jets.

    So cry like a girl.

Fact is MI 31 can carry Kh-22MA 1000KT nukes from over 200 miles away with data link.

Thats further than any US aircraft missile can fire.

  • @ImTheMightyOne

    1. You're thinking of the MIG 25 foxbat you fucking retard.

    2. Maximum range is never optimum, the only thing the 25 can do is fire its missiles and run away, the F15 proved that the 25 is just a poor raiding craft in the gulf war. No SR71 has ever been shot down. If you have so much edge, why aren't you in our airspace? Data link? what is this a cheesy 90's sci fi movie? Even hand radios are considered data links jackass.

  • @LgndryThndr,

    1, I'm not thinking of the Mig25.

The Mig 31 is faster as claimed by Russia.

You woudnt know as USA's never owned one.

2, F15 proved it was a poor aircraft even in massive formations.

Hense the reason why USA modified it into the F22.

SR71 D was shot down by China. The D was not only faster than the SR71 but also flew higher.

Which is why SR71 was scraped. It was shot down by 1950's missiles.

No Mig31 has ever been shot down.

  • @ImTheMightyOne

    RUSSIAN TROLLS.

  • @ImTheMightyOne The F-15, for your poorly misinformed self, is still one of the penultimate air superiority fighters of the day! No Russian fighter has EVER come close to shooting one down, oh wait, did I forget to mention a kill score of 168-0 over ALL types of Russian aircraft. The F-15, still has one of the lowest wing loadings and best energy in turns of any large tactical fighter out there. Go back to your computer games and leave the real afficionados alone. You are clueless!

  • @ImTheMightyOne Furthermore the SR-71 wasn't scrapped! After being in front line service for 40 YEARS, it was time to retire the fleet. The airforce assumed they could do the reconnaisance with satellites better than a manned aircraft. The SR-71 is still the fastest air breathing aircraft ever built and to this day still hold ALL of the speed, altitude and range records in its class! Like I said, go sit down. Shot down by China, with what, a set of homing nuclear chopsticks??????

  • @sakoshooter48,

Youre right no Russian fighter has come close to shooting down an F15.

Thats because USA wouldn dare attack the Russian states as USA would lose big time.

168-0 kill score over all Russian jets?

    Thats just rediculas.

only a daft yank would claim such a score.

Russias 1.44/ falling to 1.42 kill ratio over all other fighter jets is far more accurate.

  • @ImTheMightyOne Accurate as a history rewrite!!!!!!! I think you need to do a little more investigating. As I stated before, no F-15 has ever been shot down, and every engagement against a Russian platform has ended with a Russian aircraft leaving a personalized crater in the dirt. 168-0, that is the standing score as of this month! Deal with it!

  • @sakoshooter48,

SR71 tooling was destroyed after China shot down SR71D in the Vietnam war.

    I suggest you check.

SR71 may of set all the records.

But it no longer exists so is unable to hold title as the fastest air breathing jet in the world.

Russia has the fastest jets in the world.

  • @ImTheMightyOne China NEVER shot down an SR-71. Wherever you get your information from it is flawed. All SR airframes are accounted for and the information is readily available online through identification of each airframes bureau number. NASA still flies two SR-71's for research projects. Records do not disappear just because the airframe was retired, it will always be the fastest airbreather until something replaces its records!

  • @sakoshooter48 There was a drone shot down over chna that resembled one of the SR71 engines. So they like to think they shot down an SR71. basicly their grasping at straws because their mig 25 witch was supposed to be better has been shot down so often ts not even newsworthy. then they yak about the speed of the 25 but forget that if it does its top speed they cook the engines.

  • @123456789mischief The D-21 drone "shot down" over China was actually lost due to a "guidance" failure. The D-21 was always built to be expendable, better to loose a drone than an A-12 or an SR-71. We own a D-21 here at our museum, along with its logbooks and other pertinent information. Most D-21 were launched from a parent B-52 as separation issues with the A-12 mothership was at times problematic. As a matter of fact, the ramjet engine of the D-21 is still to this day, classified!

  • @sakoshooter48 your right it was not shot down. for some reason I remembered it was shot down. poor memory in my old age. in any event this is the great SR71 shoot down they like to claim. Ive had the argument before. they get a drone and all of a sudden its an SR71.

    Thanks for the correction.

  • @123456789mischief LOL yeah a drone and a SR71 are WAYYYY DIFFERENT but the taliban would shoot a weather baloon down and claim they shot down a UH-60 XD

  • @sakoshooter48 "guidance" failure... like the "engine trouble" with this F-16: /watch?v=orv8-siraJM

  • @sakoshooter48 LMAO "Homing Nuclear Chopsticks"! Missiles fly pretty fast, but if you're going to bullshit on Youtube, do it in style, I say! :-D

  • @LgndryThndr@LgndryThndr,

yo yo and cart wheel from danger!

    LMAO

Just dump a nuke ino the formation and watch them fall from the sky, is more the russian way.

  • @ImTheMightyOne

Nuclear weapons don't work that way.

  • @LgndryThndr,

"Nuclear weapons dont work that way." Duhhhhh.

I think you'll find nuclear weapons do work that way.

Thats exactly how moscows and USA's nuclear defence systems work.

By firing nukes up into the air and exploding them mid air inside fomations of jets and missiles.

  • @ImTheMightyOne

    THEY SEE ME TROLLAN.

  • @LgndryThndr,

Its a bit like you didnt know Russian jets, MIG29, SU27, SU33 can all be fitted to supply in air refueling yet in this video watch?v=qa2E6X-xnnw at 1.51 clearly shows it.

Let me guess USA tried that and found it not worth it as well.

    LMAO

  • @ImTheMightyOne

The fuck are you talking about?

I said deployment of Nuclear weapons outside of a launcher or an ICBM is retarded.

Putting your nuclear payload on a jet in this day and age is stupid, it can always be shot down or intercepted.

  • @LgndryThndr Yeah mate, but a jet is able to deviate from a set path and as such is more flexible (not that it happens so much but anyway). The best way to succeed in certain warfare scenarios is spreading your bets, you know?

  • @ImTheMightyOne Actually our naval EA-6's carry a buddy refueling pack which is very useful. It will also fit the F-18, F-14, and the E-2C HawkEye. Works quite nicely when someone is in trouble!

  • @LgndryThndr,

Youve been reading too much wikipedia.

MIG 31 has ben known to fly combat missions over Israel even at times of war.

But thats all top secert, so you dont shit your jewish loving pants. :)

  • @ImTheMightyOne

    You're so full of shit.

  • @LgndryThndr,

Im curious, why do you think Syria wants Mig31?

  • @ImTheMightyOne

Because Syria is a shit hole?

  • @LgndryThndr shut-up and get some history - you pathetic yank reb twat

  • @TigerIPanzer

a britfag that likes german nazi's?

how the fuck does that work?

Maybe we should have waited til england was over ran.

  • @LgndryThndr you yanks always think you saved the world - typical arrogant yank attitude......all you did was save your own asses.......also kindly return the British Colonies you stole from us and shove your 'tea party' up your ass - you fuckin rebs

  • @TigerIPanzer

I'm sorry these aren't your colonies.

    trollface.jpeg

  • @LgndryThndr I'm sorry but they are.....back in 1497 a guy called John Cabot claimed North America for England......it was the British who Colonised and brought civilisation to North America.......the British Government never gave you permission to declare Independence....your country of the so-called 'USA' is illigitamate....you have no right to that land....you are all immigrant colonial rebels..your 'declaration of independence' isn't worth the paper it was written on

  • @TigerIPanzer

You can have this country when you pry it from our cold dead fingers.

the USMC alone outnumbers the entire british army.

    England faggot status

    [ ] not told

    [X] fucking told

  • @LgndryThndr HAHA! that was the greatest comment ever.

  • @LgndryThndr Once again, troll as you like, but leave the homophobic bullshit out of it. If you have to stoop to that to insult someone properly ('told', was it?) then you need a creativity upgrade, man. US forces are so great due to all the white trash and mexicans breeding like rabbits and having no other way to get anywhere in life. Similar over here, but our government gives out free contraception, not free 'abstinence' lessons... ;-)

  • @TVismyopiate

    U mad?
