@gewizz2 A 2S lipo would be fine, but Spektrum says "Voltage Range:Input: 3.5–9.6V" A 3S lipo is 11.1V, fully charged it's 12.6V, quite a bit higher than 9.6V. But if you want to run your receivers on 3s, go right ahead.
@gewizz2 wait, you said tx. Some transmitters will be able to handle 3s, but again, most won't. The DX5e and DX6i both take 4 AAs, or ~6V. Doubling that with a 3S lipo is going to make the radio a bit unhappy.

Any of the other channels can be used for battery input, all the + and - pins are connected, so it doesn't matter where you plug the battery in.
