to tell you honestly, your tutorial isn't very consistent and quite hard to follow. you changed your UI as suppose to the default user interface. that's why we're having a hard time locating the specific menu that you were talking about. in conclusion, your tutorial sucked hard... (not that i wanted to put you down, but at least conform to the default interface for fast referencing)

P.S: can we hook up? i really liked the sound of your bedroom voice. :-P

Question...the gravity field on my software is not working...any ideas?

Hi, well the object must be connected to the field, make sure no animation frames or math(script) functions are connected to the translates/rotates/etc, ( they can be checked by right click on each parameter to check)and that the object has weight. Outside of that I can't think of anything else. Oh! And make sure the gravity field hasn't set to 0 G.

It has something to do with the gravity field name matching up with the object. It worked before. If I click on sphere and go to the gravity field option box, I can type the name of the field, but it always adds something to the name.

On your tutorial, when you say you're connecting the gravity field to the sphere, it looks like you're not doing anything. You just say, ok "next"...

Do you know how I can just reset the original settings?

o ugh i got another question i got the layout to work thanks alot but idk what i press that i dont see like when i rotate i dont see the rings its just the object and i spin it and like to move it i only see the yellow square not the red or blue or green ones just the yellow any ideas wow to get those bk ?

It's in preferences somewhere, that happened to me too once but can't remember how I got it back. Re-installing would fix it(ug)

documents -> maya -> 2008(in mine) -> delete "prefs"

i have a question my whole layout of the tools got messed up how can i reset my layouts ??

that little icon above the attribute editor, the thing that is on the right, there should be an icon there right click and hold down on it and then select back all the stuff. U can also reinstall it.
