i no another way.... on DK Pass use the shortcut where theres an item box and u always get items ud usuallt get wen ur in lik last place so if u get a star an ur in 1st place wait until someone throws a blue shell then use it...... just pay attention to th bottom screen

i still play this video game but the way i dodge blue shells is by looking at the bottom screen and checking if anyone has a blue shell then i break until someone passes me then the blue shell changes course and hits the person that passed me. While it may not be the most effective way to dodge a shell it's a very satisfiying was of doing so

I once avoided a blue shell when I got lucky and it found me right when I launched on the cannon in Airship Fortress. In fact you need luck to use the technique in this video, if you're somewhere with walls like Shroom Ridge you might be in trouble (trust me).

It's best done on lightwieght as seen here, a little more difficult with middle weight,(watch out for peach's killer drift >_>) and very hard to do with heavy wieght.

dam... i don't understand how ppl get boosts so fast when they are drifting or watever.they just turn a little and get the blue or orange boost. in the ds, it's not that hard to explain, but in da wii, i don't get how they do it. can someone explain how to get it quicker? Just because someone has more wins than losses doesn't mean they cheated. Maybe they're just good at the game. Who are you to just rule them out and say they cheated? If they're getting power ups like bullet bills in the top three, they're probably cheating, but there's no way to tell from a win/ loss count.

He has the Blue Shell in his item box because he is using a cheat system. These kind of people are dumb pussses and should go die. If people didn't cheat I would never lose a race. You can usually tell if there a cheater if they have way more wins then loses and they usually have played alot. All though I do appreciate him making this video! Cheating ruins the point of the WIFI races its dumb and a waste of time if yu know your just going to win.

He may not have cheated, although it is a possibility. He may have just fallen back into 7th or 8th place, gotten a blue shell, then snaked (which is not cheating) back into first place, then used it. And I feel for you, as I have been cheated in the Wi-Fi races too.

I'm a blue shell dodger, but looking at this video reminds me the glory days of dodging that cursed blue shell for the first time. I was playing as Mario on N64 Frappe Snowland when this happend, the f@#$ing blue shell comming from behind of me right after drifting that sharp turn going into the snowman patch, the flying death circling around me, have a mini turbo ready for me to use, blue shell drops, I jumped forward releasing the R button as I go AND emerge from the blast victorious!

mario kart 64- you have to slide very close to the wall, ds- mini turbo slip when it's coming down, double dash- turbo slip when it's right behind you and making it's move to strike, wii- use your mushroom when it's coming down, awesome video (by dbzmariofan)
