  • SUB! awesome!! Frank Gambale next edition!!!

  • Morten - what kind of loop pedal are you using?

  • @utube9000 It's a Boss, the biggest one, I think it's called rc50.

  • what it's that guitar? please answer :)

  • @DavyNightmare13 it's a Martin mtv special edition.

  • Cool lesson, you are very good! Quite something to do the sweeping on an acoustic :p What guitar is that and more importantly what are you using to amplify the sound, I think a combination of a magnetic pickup and a mic?

  • @Foodie88 Yeah, it's a Seymor Duncan Mag-mic, both magnetic and regular mic. All piezos should be thrown at sea!

  • great!thumbs up!

  • Hey, which looping pedal are you using ? Considering buying Boss RC but not sure which version, with one pedal or two :]

  • @evilek boss rc-50

  • @MortenFaerestrand Thanks! RC-50 is a bit too much for me but I think I'll get RC-30, should be easier to record.

  • @evilek the rc-50 is actually remarkably easy to use, extremely user friendly OS.

  • Nice Sensei. About time i saw you on an acoustic. I do most of my practicing on my Acoustic cutaway. Great tone as well. Speaking of great tone, that sound you have is kicking butt. I like your ideas on 3 string half sweeps as well.

Glad to hear that i got the formula right!!!! BTW, When are you going to the Metheny seminar?

  • @brwnhornet59 thanks bro! The PM seminar is in the end of august!

  • It's a tricky technique rolling across on one finger, do you ever do it with your pinky? (Please say no lol)

  • @D3R3K1600 hehehe, not if I can help it! Frank Gambale does that effortlessly though, just shows we're all different, his hands looks very different from yours or mine.

  • @MortenFaerestrand I have a theory that Gambale is actually an advanced alien but I'm still working on it...

  • Just one word, Morten: Fantastic!

    Cheers, Frank

  • @FrankRMusic Thank you Frank!

  • WOW, jeg er målløs! Du er utrolig dyktig-helt herlig å lytte til! FANTASTISK!!!

    THUMBS UP!

  • @Lillemy1 Målløs er bra! ;-) takker!

  • wow man- you sounds awesome on acoustic. not sure why you don't play it more often.

  • @iloverumi Thank you, maybe I will..

  • Jævla bra!!!!

  • @patscircle Thank you!

  • @MortenFaerestrand Thanks to you, please don't forget to give Pat a big, big hug from me, aye ((,

  • @patscircle not sure how he'd take that.. ;-)

  • @MortenFaerestrand He is a good and enlightened man and this hug of mine is given in "Fraternitas" with all due respect. In case you may, of course! Thank you! (,

  • I never tried sweeping on a acoustic before, but this sure inspired me! Thanks, this was really helpful.

  • @FranLesPaul Cool, it works great! :)

  • great playing as always! Can I ask what pick up you're using in your acoustic?

  • @Barefoot67 sure, it's a Seymor Duncan MagMic, it is both magnetic, and has a microphone on the underside of it. I tested it against several, much more expensive pick-ups, and it was MUCH better than the rest! I have actually fooled record producers into believing they hear a properly miced up guitar with this!

  • This is good stuff

  • @Guitarlots Great to hear! :-)
