I believe the lyrics have to do with lust, but in a very poetic, relatively clean way -the girls are kinda praying that some bolt from the heavens come as a signal to validate their desires for some nordic god. I'm serious.

However that is not the reason for its name. The dance steps has another name which I forgot, but it is referred to as Pornopolka by Live Roleplayers, who have made this their traditional dance, which they named after the song they dance it to: Pornopolka.
I made a cleanup of the lyrics in three languages on LyricsWiki.
The English lyrics was made by the translator to fit with the melody, but it's a bit hard to sing.
I love the song and dance, which I learned of in my year attending a LRP school. Watch out though, I've gotten blisters for dancing over two hours before!

The lyrics seem to describe something intimate in a way an 90 years grand-pa would do in front of a public made of rich man with their child... It is not necessarily fucking but it seem to not be so far away... Lines like "Raise the lust for love to raving" or "Got the lovely dove beside him" or "So he gets no sleep at night time" are present. And, musically, it is a polka.
Ignorant people shame the name of good music.
