That was incredible. It's one of those pieces that when you first hear the beginning, you know the rest is going to be good. It has a real nice groove that gets your foot tapping which is what it should do. There's a reason this video doesn't have any dislikes. Because it is good.
try to hit more of the chord-tones, not just improvise in a scale, but try to for instance only improvise with one chord tones! that would help you in expanding your realm of impro!
@Django5198 He's mixing major and minor pentatonic scales. Pretty much any solo can be matched back to a scale, unless it's a whole bunch of random notes all over the neck, but even that could possibly link to a scale. Even playing chords are generally a combination of notes in a scale.
Wow this is great sounding dude on both guitars, I just never realized that the strat and the Gibson sounded so different. But both are great sounding
I could send two songs for you. The first one is from Albert's album "Let It Roll" (Song is "Duke Brothers Live At Taxman's Paradise") which was released in 1988. Second is from the band called "Royals" where Albert was guitarist and the song is "Rock Me" from their album "Spring 76". If you wish to give your e-mail address I can send them. ;) Hope you would enjoy of these pieces.
I just couldn't believe my ears when I heard this. You're just a professional blues-guitarist. I noticed so many gorgeous licks on your playing... just amazing! Some of your licks resembled me Finnish blues-guitarist Albert Järvinen's playing. ;)
If you wish to check from my profile where I and my friend tried to play some slow blues in key E. And hey, we've been playing just for one and a half years so it isn't masterpiece, but we tried anyway...
É o brasil mandando ver nos blues!

Wow! Very good idea to jam with yourself with different guitars and setup to create some "BB King jam with Eric Clapton" feel.
