  • When assembly is against THE LAW what will you do ?

    move along now. . .

  • oooooooh crazy, wouldn't wanna ever go there. Just comply with THE LAW and move along now.

  • Vote Ron Paul... our only hope to avoid slavery

  • Lawful assemby is always a good thing and I stand by Occupy's right to do so. The police are protecting and serving the public good by preventing property damage and clearing the streets so we can all go about our lives. And for the record, despite whatever the media claims, the Occupy movement is NOTHING like the Civil Rights or Tea Party movement. NOTHING!

  • @coyotefever105

im a tea partier and yes, the ows movement is quite similar to the tea party movement.

  • @7even78 I'm a Tea Partier. Yes, the two have grown from grassroot movements. The two movements do not share a common message. The Tea Party has leadership to help us organize, help us abide the law and help us denounce anybody who acts recklessly. In the Occupy protests, there is no leadership to help organize the protests and ensure people don't act crazy.

  • @coyotefever105

the tea party will never have leadership. there may be people who want to steer the movement, but we tea partiers understand they are not with us. the tea party is a grassroots movement. if it has leadership it loses its soul. michelle bachmann doesnt represent us, she controls people who think they are tea partiers. i would suggest to you the occupy movement is not crazy and the tea party racist isnt full of racist hillbillies

  • @7even78 TheOccupy movement has had people propose crazy ideas, but as whole, I know not all of the protesters are crazy. I'm not talking about leadership such as the DNC or RNC or a Congress Caucus, I'm talking about people who organize these events and give people a clear direction of what the movement is about. I'm referring to those who make it explicitly clear that we abide by the law. Another problem with Occupy is that anarchists like Anonymous have infiltrated the protests.

  • @7even78 ??? When did the riot squad need to be brought out during the tea party movement? When did the tea party movement cause millions of dollars in damage to public and private property? when did the tea party throw rocks at officers while yelling "fuck the police"? This movement is nothing like the tea party movement. It should be stopped immediately.

  • @watchfulstorm

does the constitution not allow for people to peacefully assemble? were the people in this video not being peaceful? i think you better reevaluate your position

  • @7even78 It does allow for peaceful assembly, however there are problems with both parts of that. The first being that, no, they were not being peaceful. It's not as easy to see from this angle, but protesters began throwing rocks and other projectiles at officers before they dispersed the crowd. In fact, the same video also shows protesters doing deliberate property damage. The second is that assembling is different from camping out for months on property you don't own.

  • @watchfulstorm

i didnt see anyone throwing anything in this video. if there are a couple people destroying property, they deserve to be arrested. the cops have no rights to take away people who are peaceful. secondly, nowhere in the constitution does it state that how long we are allowed to protest

  • @7even78 /watch?v=sFaviIoy4rg

This shows more destruction of property, and the projectiles can be seen thrown by the protesters. Again, there is a difference between gathering for a protest, and permanently squatting on land that you don't own. Just as people can't show up and pitch tents in your yard, they can't show up and pitch tents in public city parks. Legally, everyone in those camps can be arrested.

  • @watchfulstorm

like i said, the people acting badly should be arrested. the people who are peaceful should not be arrested. also, if its public property, the people pay for that. it is technically the peoples property so we have the right to protest as long as we want. thanks for the link

  • @7even78 No, it's still vandalism if you destroy public property, and to suggest anything otherwise is juvenile. For a third time now, it's not the protesting that's the problem, it's that the movement has turned into an excuse for illegal squatting.

  • @watchfulstorm

no, lets be realistic. im going to call you out on your bullshit. admit it, you watch fox news for your main source of information. admit it, you dont agree with ows message. admit it, if it WAS the tea party, you would be up in arms right now. admit it, you dont defend the constitution when it doesnt jive with your political outlook. admit it, your problem is that you are not a constitutionalist. just admit it!

  • @7even78 1. I do not watch fox news as my main news source 2. You are correct, I don't agree with the OWS message at all. 3. Swing and a miss. If the Tea Party was acting this out of control, I would call them out just as I have been doing with the occupy movement. 4. I believe very much in the Constitution our country was founded on, and I'm not sure we would be a free country today if not for it and the Bill of Rights it contains. 5. Previous answer should disprove this. 1/5.

  • All cops must die. Keep your resolve, oakland, we will be joining you shortly. Expect us. Expect us all.

  • Occupy will be extinguished because they are a burden on peaceful people and they are violent. Those are attributes of people who are not responsible for self and one who is not responsible for their self totally disrespects the freedom of those to whom they attack and burden.

These people are socialist who are trying to spread their illusion that American Dream is gone.

The American Dream is hurt by Obama but still there.

  • @willy8880

Occupy will be extinguished because they are violent? Who is going to "extinguish" them and how? Makes me wonder if violence is acceptable to u as long as your political ends are met and others r extinguished. We are all Americans who have the right to peacefully assemble and it seems to me the police are the initiators of violence in this clip. I suggest u wake up before its to late

  • @7even78 you call throwing shit at the police peaceful? you call breaking into city hall and lighting fires and breaking windows paeceful?

these anarchists came with shields, helmets, gasmasks ready to battle the police. the police did not do enough!! they should have ran them down on horse back .

  • @usaf317

when did they throw shit at the police? was that when they were peacefully protesting and the police started tear gassing them? last i knew, we had a constitution which gave we the people the right to peacefully assemble. are you suggesting that police can shut down an entire march if one person vandalizes? what if that person was an undercover officer? better yet, why dont they just arrest the people who are not peacefull assemble? wake up pal

  • @7even78 i have seen more than one vide of people throwing shit at the pilice. ..to protest is one thing but to block the streets and to try and take over a property that does not belong to them...thats not peaceful protest. look at how many people broke into city hall ...there must have been at least 50 on the steps of the building burning the

American flag they stole. everyone there should have been taken away...anarchist scum.

  • Perfect example of what is wrong with people in the U.S. today.

Whine and want somebody else to do something for them -- hope, change.

Take responsibility for yourself again. Occupy equals whiner and lazy ass.

The message from Occupy is Wrong!

  • Remember when the Tea Party did this?

  • @xvraider1900 ya right after they trashed personal property and left a big pile off garbage in their wake....we assume irony right? :)

  • I see NAZIS!

  • @EnergyIsFree Extermination the christian jew cop government is inevitable. Resistance is futile.

  • Looks a little staged and planned to me. Don't buy into the OWS hype because all it is going to do is create violence this summer. Get behind the end the fed movement. That truly is our slave master. Please consider Ron Paul!

  • @zoozootaken Ron Paul is a stinking doctor that has been getting rich off the slavery of Americans for decades. Exterminate the American Bar Association and the American Medical association. Doctors and Lawyers hate the Bill of Rights and the maggots that make me type secret code to post

  • @freedummy1 Ron Paul isn't that rich, compared to people in congress or the government. btw there is a government penchin that congressman get and it's around 80-100 grand and Ron Paul doesn't accept it because he says it's morally corrupt.
