so in conclusion, the only real difference i've heard is the bad guys plot, dbz, kill everyone, bleach, rule the spirit world (and effectivly the human world) which if i remember correctly... was so that he can kill everyone and be supreme ruler of his own world he would create or something... the hollow feed out of nature, so not much change in the bad guy idea there, theres still power leve, its just called spirit energy in this, and the whole point of the anime is fighting.. still..
