  • May Allah bless you my brother for bringing to my attention this issue. What you say is the truth, my naffs and my base desires are making all sorts of excuses to allow me to carry on listening to this stuff. I look back on my life and have noticed I never benefitted from listening to this stuff, the deen in my life never increased. These nasheeds never inspired me to pray one farz salah, even though I listened to so much nasheed, Islam is right when it says music creates hypocrisy in the heart.

  • Sheikh, I really love your videos, What i don't understand is that, I try telling my friends, explaining them, they read the hadiths that I write. But the next second everything that I said was just a blur to them!! It's so difficult, What should I do? They seem to ignore me! And they dont understand the little and small mistakes they make. Of course I am not perfect, but I care! Hope I will get an answer. inshAllah. And May Allah bless you, you inspire me. Alhumdulillah!

  • may Allah bless you .......nice video .......nice advices

  • 7 people don't want to give up music:) May Allah guide them

  • WERE IN THE KORAN DOES IT SAY DONT PLAY MUSIC HAHAHA

  • Subhan Allah, Jazak Allahu Khairan Ahsan Jazaa. Wallahee i got inspired by this brother that i look forward meeting him. He should be the khalifa of America and those some shikhs should listen to him. Muslims need to go back to the real Islam. Peace be upon those who follow the truth and follow sunnat Muhammad Peace be upon him.

  • may Allah reward this brother abundantly for speaking about this topic. It is very indeed amid the situation of this Ummah. People are making nasheeds equal to Quran, na'authoobillah. jazeet alfirdaus al 3laa wa barakAllah feekum..

  • @onewaytoparadise im catholic dude

  • Brother I would be pleased (May Allah be pleased with you) if you would answer my question.

The brother in the video says that it was ibn Abbas who said three times that the verses in Luqman is about singing.

But I read a fatwa where it´s saying that it is actually Ibn Masud, who is also one of the best who knew the tafsir of the qur´an. Brother, which was ist, Ibn Abbas or Ibn Masud (peace be upon both of them)?

  • @TheOGAProductions

Akhi, in part 2/11 1:55 I mentioned that is was Ibn Masoud who swore three times that it was singing and not Ibn Abbaas, even though it was also the position held by Ibn Abbaas and others. Perhaps you missed it.

  • @OneWayToParadise

jezakhallahu khair akhi, it was my mistake, subhanallah

  • This brother makes so much sense, well he would as he quotes from the Noble Quran and the Sunnah.

Those that want to follow their desires are misleading themselves and others. May Allah SWT guide us all.

  • sorry for triple post. what i meant by not listening to typical nahseed before i watched this lecutre, i meant nasheed without musical instruments.

  • also why do people insist on having no love for the quran? what ibn masud said is sufficient. Barakallahu fik Abu Mussab that you talked about this. I feel better since i abstain from even singing, which i listened anyway only because of the melody which makes it really not much different than listening to musical instruments.

  • Before this lecture i knew of sayings of ulama about singing too. After a time i decided not to hear to the typical nasheeds either because it bothered me everywhere and i couldnt get it out of my head. Then Allah has guided me to this lecture alhamdulillah

why do people insist on having no love for the quran? what ibn masud said is sufficient. Barakallahu fik Abu Mussab that you talked about this. I feel better since i abstain from even songs (which i heared anyway only because of the melody)

  • wtf is this? i looked up tupac poetry

  • @miyokoakito2

    And you found something better.

  • .....forbidding music - what an absurd and crazy! where in Quran is it commanded?

  • @zyjan

Is the Sunnah not enough for you?

  • @zyjan The best example of how to live and how to act... Take The Prophet Muhammad(SAW) who is the mercy to all mankind.. He didn't listen to music then why do you need to.

  • assalamu alikum brother abu mussab what are your comments

about peace tv.specially on its music

  • Assalamulaikum,

Brother OneWayToParadise, I was recently having a conversation with a Muslim regarding the permissibility of Sheikh Mishary Bin Alafasy's Nasheeds. He maintained that they were impermissible, and I told him that it would be best for us to ask one who is acquainted with these matters. So, I am interested in your judgment on this matter. Thank you!

  • @ManifestationOfTruth

    Wa Alaykum Assalaam,

For future reference beloved brother, my name is Wajdi Akkari also known as Abu Mussab.

Afaasey's nasheed are Haraam to listen to as well.

  • AL-HAMDULILLAH For this lecture made me delete all my jihad nasheeds, and forget about some of these ignorant muslims commenting here.

    Salam

  • wow...akhi...you live in saudi ? u talk about music being haram? while your kings inherit the land of prophet saws..while your kings trade women and steal and customize law of Allah and make it their benefits ...subnAllah ..people like you should stay in saudi....and not youtube your self.....

  • @lexuskc

What a terrible advice to give a Muslim brother. Allow me to turn the tables. What country do you live in? And does everything your governement does prevent you from speaking the truth and calling to Islaam? My Kings? I came here 4 years ago Akhi and I am a foreigner in this country. Ignorance is destructive indeed.

  • @OneWayToParadise You are right Akhi. They are paying taxes and with this money US are attacking Muslims. But alas!! May Allah guide us Ameen.

  • @lexuskc

So because he lives under the jurisdiction of the House of Saud, he shouldn't enjoin good and forbid evil?

  • @lexuskc Wow what a way to stop someone who is rising the ummah and informing all of the truth. He spoke nothing but the Qur'an and sunnah ... unfortunately ... you did not see it. May Allah forgive me and all my brothers and sisters. Ameen.

  • @lexuskc I'm not saudi but I dont know why people have a problem with saudi Arabia specifically as if all the muslim countries are an example of Islamic rule on this earth. Saudi isnt a khilafa nor is it free from corruption but in this day and age they havent corrupted the religion like others have and all that they have done has proof from Quran and Sunnah, just because it doesnt fit your life style or the way you were brought up doesnt make it wrong.

  • @lexuskc I fail to see how the actions of corrupt kings invalidates the argument this brother is making. This is a logical fallacy - he has presented his evidences, and your only response is to associate him with possible corruption in the land of Saudi Arabia? Explain to me how that exactly invalidates his arguments and presentation? With peace.

  • jazakAllah (thank u) brother for speaking the truth..nasheed wid drums nd othr music is haraam...for being a good muslim we alwayz hav to do jihad-an-nafs tht is: having control over our desires..shaytaan (iblees) is alwyz thr to intimidate us (especially in da case of music)..bringing people to islam using forbidden ways is also forbidden.for eg. We cant steal sum1's car for going to hajj..da wayz tought to us in Islam is complete nd more thn enuf.. Salaam.

  • This speaker is clearly a case of SOUR GRAPES.Sami has invited a 100 people into Islam if not more & continues to do so via his benevolent & halal music. We ask & challenge this extremist speaker how many ppl he has invited to our religion? ZILCH?This speaker sends a shiver down us.Sami is making maximum use of the resources endowed to him to earn a dignified & fruitful living so let him be & leave him alone. The speaker shd mind his own business & be sat at his office desk doing business trading

  • @forevergreentree First, thank you for the kind words and the wise comparison. Second, you will hardly ever find a follower of desires, who wants to object to someone who opposes his twisted views, except that Allaah will deprive him of success in his comment and allow him to trangress and oppress. On what basis do you assume and challenge me that I have not invited anyone to Islaam? Do you know the unseen? Did you see my other videos? Ignorance and arrogance are deadly. Watch out!

  • @OneWayToParadise mashaAllah i completely agree with you ya akhi. i ask Allah swt may He guide the ones who are blind to the truth ameen. jazzakAllah khair for such amazing videos. Wallahi i learned so much from these lectures. may Allah swt bless you for your good deeds and ultimately reward you not only Jannah, but Ferdous'ala. Ameen

  • @OneWayToParadise brother do you live in the US? if yes, are you able to come to NYC to give a talk at our MSA here? if needed...im just asking ..

  • @ekhanam1

I live in Saudi Arabia. Sorry.

  • @forevergreentree how is sami yusuf's music halal? He clearly uses musical instruments, all of which are haraam!!! And how is he extremist? Extremists are those who blow themselves up and call it islaam. This sheikh has used qur'an and ahadith to reach a CORRECT cinclusion.

  • @forevergreentree did u comment before listening to all 11 parts? thought so. ends do not justify means in islam. rasoolullah s.a.w > sami yusuf. if we want to please Allah, we need to do so via SINCERITY (which sami yusuf has inshaAllah) ANDDDD it has to be in accordance with the sunnah; 2 basic conditions. so thank you for the kind words and the wise comparison, and may Allah guide us all to the Haqq. aameen.

  • @forevergreentree Let pray for our bro who seem lost/confuse at what halal or haram in islam. Halal and haram is not determine by man but by the Creator. If the Creator say haram no one can make them haram even the whole muslim world agreed to make it halal. Thumb up for onewaytoparadise aka Abu Musaab. Barakaallahu feek.

  • @forevergreentree Inviting people into Islam through Haraam means? MASHA ALLAH!

It should be with beautiful preachings of the Qur'an or the sunnah or your actions! Not with music! They embraced Islam because they are in love with the music or the singer's voice?

These need to be taken into your consideration.. Don't fight with these controversial topics, if you are in doubt you can either ask the highest authentic scholar or don't practice it! Simple as that!

  • Salam Brother..

as long as you gave the hadith and quran to support your statement or opinion,

u r in the right path..

what u say in this video are supported by quran and hadith..

so u are rigth all the way..

may ALLAH have mercy for all of us to stop listening to music..

    ameen..

  • Surah Luqman Ayat he quotes, does not says music is haraam. Allah has forbidden us from making it Haraam and halaal without knowledge. What is haraam and Halaal has been mentioned in Quran in great details and you dont find music in it. may Allah guide us all on right path.

  • @asif15905 Akhi, the Sahaabah swear by Allaah that the Aayah is speaking of singing and music, do you then know better than they did?

  • @OneWayToParadise brother, what i point out is what Quran does not say, its a simple arabic, and there are several words for music in arabic. what is forbidden in Allahs book is" fuhsha" or vulgarity, music that do that is forbidden. music is one of the highest form of bieng human. whether that sahaba said it or not , its not certain, I am responsible for my own deed and words, not what sahabah allegedly said or not.

  • @asif15905 I am afraid this statements of your will bring your destruction unless you repent to Allaah and venerate the Sahaabah as they desreve to be honored. Also, you are not qualified to be speaking in this Deen with your feeble opinion, Allaah makes something Haraam, and you say that is it the highest form of being human!! Don't you know that belief in Allaah is the highest form? you made it music... May Allaah guide you.

  • @OneWayToParadise brother, do you think Quran Kareem is not complete book, or do you think Sahaba karam will do our shafaa in judjment day, and you r true then I defenitely need guidance. May Allah do mercy on me.Allah has shown His pleasure with Sahaba , so who am I to disregard them, but I dont make them My mini gods.Wassalaam

  • @asif15905 Akhi, forgive me for saying this. I don't think you have any qualification to be speaking at all. The people of Sunnah and Tawheed take the Sahaabah as mini god? I seek Allaah's refuge. I will not waste my time and yours. Type in google : Wajdi Akkari The Righteous Predecessors. Watch me lecture so you can learn who the Sahaabah are before you undermine their Tafseer of an Ayah.

  • @asif15905 I'm a convert to islam, and sorry to say bro but what you just said is absolutely absurd! Our knowledge of islam is the qur'an and the sunnah. The sunnah which was the prophet's way, understanding of qur'an etc... and it was practiced by the salaf early generations which are the sahabas, tabeen and taba tabeen... so....

  • ive listened to this brothers lectures only a few and ive learn a lot plus he keeps his audience entertained by joking about Mashallah i love this brother for the sake of allah keep up with the good lectures inshallah may allah reward him ameen

  • you were a rapper! haha now i can relate to someone who did what i did and does what i would like to do in the future inshAllah!

  • Subhanallah. This brother is one of the only brothers who actually take the time to talk about topics most people want to avoid. Wallah if we really love our brothers and sisters for the sake of Allah, we would never look at them doing wrong (which would earn them worse on the Day of Judgment) and be quiet about it. It's like looking at your friend putting his hand in boiling oil while he may not know. Should you talk or let him do it? Exactly! Now we know who really cares about other Muslims!

  • Alhamdulillah! Again, Brother Abu Mussab speaks eloquently to try to keep us on the straight path. Surely the best form of speech is the recitation of the Noble Qu'ran, and the songs of the dunya are not even worthy of being compared with this.

  • I love this brothers English and his communications skills.

  • Mashallah waiting for remaining parts which will be defiantly beneficial to so many young muslims Inshallah.

  • Masha Allah. Alway sharing haq Alhumdulillah. May Allah keep you steadfast and on the haq and give you more knowledge, eman, and health and there to keep on reminding us. Allahuma ameen. May Allah give you the best of rewards in this life and the akhirah.

  • I love this brother so much for the sake of Allaah
