I'm sure they are paying for the water alright. They're just putting stuff in it that we can't take out of it. Not without a whole lot more money. And, contrary to your opinion, I have quite an idea of what I am talking about.
And... you have no idea what your talking about with the water the companies pay the state of arkansas for every gallon water they use!!!!! and it does not take 2 million gallons of water!!!! i work for bj services and i know this for a fact!!! you have no idea about the oil or gas companies so try to learn a little bit before you put stuff up like this...
The point of this video is: Chesapeake Energy pulled out of the NY City Watershed completely. In Arkansas, we can't even get them to tell us what might potentially be in the water. If it is so harmless, why not tell us?
And...What is the point of this video? We have 9 wells on our farm and a 16" pipeline going right through the middle. You would never know it was there if you hadn't watched them put it in. Nearly once a week a representative would stop by and ask if we had any problems. They pumped water out of creeks...used it...filtered it ...and hauled it away...You obviously have no idea what you are even "against" other than..."The Big, Bad, Evil, Gas Companies".
also one other thing is that the economical impact that this has on the area is awesome. Many jobs have been been created as well as a outside source of money for those are seeing hard time.
@ArkansasRiverBoy Yeah well if they get sick from drinking dirty fracking water and breathing fracing chemicals they will not be working cause they will be at the doctors office all the time ,or in the hospital bed!
i great appreciate the concern but you failed to mention a few things. the first being what the arkansas is doing with the funds it is recieving from the leasing of their mineral rights as well as the royalties they receive. Bryan Hendrix who is the outdoor editor for the Ark. Gazette had a article about the Land in south east arkansas the AGFC recently purchased and the commitment they made to do with the rest of the money they accumulate.
Learn what the your talking about all that water is filtered then taken to disposals and pumped into injection pits i bet you dont bitch when you house and your water is warm do you
@DuckBlaster45 That's about the biggest load of manure anybody has tried to sell. I know bj services. They aren't big enough to pay anybody off. especially since they got bought out.

are those 'post frac' water pits going to be left in that condition? Is that the liquid they are using for drilling?
