  • 0:24 please tell me the where can i find this...

  • This video reminds me of one of my best friends. I was very surprised of what he asked of me before he left this physical world.

  • Very beautiful! A wonderful video as well! Hail to Odin! What is the name of the song if I may ask?

  • Great song! The feeling really resonates with the runes perfect.

  • due forgive this question, but didn't Freja first know the runes? i ask this because i sometimes find things on Her having them before Odin. i know He hung from the Tree to obtain the knowledge, but then i hear other things.

  • <3

  • more rune please sing

  • All living things have Aura's even Crystals resonate. I always moonstone and Amethyst to connect to the ancients. I too am Asatruar and hope that there are more teaching on this. I had been taking Freya Aswyn's lessons on the net, if you have looked into them, do look her up if she still offers them...very insightful! You really connect to the Gods and Goddesses of Valhalla.

  • Can a man from a different nationality be allowed to practice the runes and embrace Odinism? My nationality is that of Native Mexico. My ancestors were the great Aztec warriors which we have our own gods which are similar to that of Odinism. I myself was brought up in a heavy Christian home but I realized early in my life how much hypocrosy and volience is in it.

  • @kiball09 I believe you can. asatru as far as I'm concerned is just another way to explain the universe we all live in.

  • Anyone have this music without the vibrations of runes?? This music really help with vibrating correct sound of the runes

  • "In the Beginning was the word" - Thoth

In runes every word, every syllabe, every letter is important, and this is beautyfull

  • "That Night I Drempt of The Runes

I Found Myself Lost In A Grin

For The Runes Spoke Of Joyous Times

    And Many More Years Herein

The Child, They Said "Will Be Of Strong Will

...And A Pleasant Child It'll Be"

I Care Little To Know The Gender.

But They Said It'd Be A Lot Like Me."

    -DraoiSidhe

  • bellissimo!

  • yeh but odin carved us from driftwood humans and trees are connected because of this the 1st humans elm and ash or it culd be amber if im nt misstaken you see auras? how

  • @vikingtarl

This is good, yes, you're right. We are of course quite connected to trees in so many ways.

Both physical and metaphorical. Ancient Germanic tribes had their own holy groves of oak trees surrounded by a golden chain, each oak tree within the grove was said to represent a death or a birth within the tribe.

The last two humans, Lif and Lifthrasir will survive by hiding themselves within Yggdrasil at the destruction of the world.

  • Please check out Rune3Master - Into The Depths by Brad Lorenz, if you want to unlock the secrets of the multidimensional rune.

  • dont ever use bone to make runes for 1 thats just plain silly =3 to use another beings bones wuld be unwise its bones are sacred to them and have the beings energy imbued in them and wuld make the readings unclear most comon used is ash like yggdrasil is =3

  • @vikingtarl

What are the bones of a tree and a rock?

Even trees and stones are living beings. Years ago, when I first started seeing auras, I was quite shocked to learn that trees too, have auras.

I say it probably does not make much difference except for how your energies mix with the medium of choice.

  • Beautiful music!!

  • If you enjoy stories of the north, try Sigurd's Saga on Youtube.

  • When I was younger I use to be able put all the Runes in order, draw them all, name them all and no matter where my mother would hide them I would always find them. Even though I no longer remember none but one of those, (the drawing of the Runes) I still feel a connection with them to this day.

  • prenounced so wrong!!!! this is bullshit

  • thank you you! for once something that is norse that isn't heavy metal!

it's wonderful!!!! I love it! thank you

  • the sig rune is a- victory rune

  • the runes are personal..you must make and blood them yourself. this puts your essance, your spirit, your being within them. by casting the runes you invoke their power with yours to a true meaning. this is why casting someone elses runes is pointless, where is the essance the spirit for which you seek guidence..HOSS

  • HAIL ODIN AND ALL THAT COME AFTER HIM.

I'm not the kind of person who uses runes. I'll find my way to Valhalla by fighting some one with sword in hand. If I die after taking out a few men then I will die with a smile on my face. Let what ever Apocalyptic event that falls include fire and blades. I will die happily then if that is what happened.

  • im from finland for a long time they tought finland was empty wilderness and that noone lived here but there were vikings in finland we found necklaces pins bracelets

that show that there were vikings in finland :Dim gonna make my own runes to :D

  • @ilikecryptozoology The proper way is to make your own. Follow your heart and soul.

  • does it bother nobody, that nobady knows the real names of the runes in the older futhark. a whole magic industry is build on these names and meanings but really nobody have found a prove for those names. the names today coming from norwegian and icelandic medieval runes which are 1000 years younger! --- oh, but im sure, there are people out there, that can feel the real name and talking to old death vikings in english about it...

  • I have had a set of rune stones for years and just now started to learn them. This video is beutiful.

  • I just Had a Question... Could You Use Runes Like They Do In Stardust?

  • @urmonkei22 Yes! You can toss them in the air, and have them land, use them to find people even, or confirm who the reading is for, all things are possible in Runes.

  • That's a great asatru site

    asatruhungary. blogspot. com

  • I don't believe in any of the mysticism associated with this (even as, being mostly highland scottish, it includes many of my ancestors), but I really enjoy the music.

  • trop cool

  • I may be a Celtic Pagan, but I know the runes well (part of my Saxon blood, I guess :) ), mainly the Elder FUTHARK, but also the Vienna Anglo-Saxon FUTHORC. I can translate them with ease, and I used it with one of my high school teachers as a sort of code. He saw that I wrote runes in my notebook when he was checking one time, and he was amazed. Runology is fascinating to me - as is the mystery of the Kensington Stone. I just wish that people would stop referring to the hooked "g" as an "x".

  • Mark your runes with your Blood there is much power in Blood.

  • I dot recognize the rune in the thumbnail.

  • My teacher has tasked me with giving a class on runes. I will be having my students make their own sets. Should I have them call the Runes as they make each one. Also material wise I have them gathering stones,,,,or wood that speaks to them. As they are a personal Item I think if they make them rather than purchase them they will be much more effective.

  • @princesso8788 Yes I agree, they should make their own runes.

Stones, wood- this is good, but also the option for animal bone or antlers is possible. Further to personalize them would be blood, or at least red paint to symbolize blood, the red paint could then be stirred with the finger, before being applied, to mark or claim the paint.

  • @princesso8788

Best is that the runes have a personal link with the bearer, and the link should symbolize that the runes belong to the owner, are claimed by him or her, and that he or she holds power over them. The best is that the runes are carved and then painted into the selected media, but if that is not possible painting them is enough.

  • @princesso8788 don't ask...feel...listen....do!

  • @princesso8788 That sounds awesome! I what a great idea! How did it turn out? My teacher asked me to give a presentation on Wicca and similar religions, and a lot of people come to me when they have questions about it or are interested.

    Blessed Be.

    )O(

  • fake

my runes are more than 400 years old they have been pasted down in my family for hundards of years

  • @xxxhellfangdragonxxx which runes are those?

  • @xxxhellfangdragonxxx I am Balder, how do i get out of this hellhole and back home to Valhalla?

  • Nice! I love fairy tales!

  • This is a nice video for learning your F-U-TH's!

  • ᚫᚨ

  • ᚫᚨ

  • :) this is amazenn i cant believe how some people think this is satanic... ignorance is the root of all evil ;).

this makes me happy and idk... something good feels inside me :P

  • Hail Enki and Praise the true gods forever!

  • this song is BADASS. hail odin!!!!!!!!!!

  • Es heisst: Runenanrufung. Titel 10 auf dem Album "Verdunkelung des Göttlichen" von der Band: Halgadom

  • thank you for the poem The Hàvamàl that was a nice refresher. I'm teaching my young kids the runes.

  • Hail Odin!

Hail to all the sons and daughters of Odin!

  • well said!

    sag an!

  • Great video mate...

  • Schwert, Axt und Schild für immer!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this music, thank you for sharing!!!

  • I don't the idea of rune calling in this way. The way to call Fehu is by the continual intonation of ''ffffffffffff'', and for Uruz, ''ooooo'', and for thurisaz, 'thhhh', and so on. If you are calling out ''Fe-hu'', then you are calling out Fehu, Ehwaz, Hagalaz and Uruz all in sequence, and when you consider that there are different spellings of the rune name for different folk - it just doesn't make sense. It ought to be ''fffffffff'', and not, ''feeee-huuuu'', and the same for the other runes.

  • Did it not occur to you that it just wouldn't sound right in a song? Think of this more like a Norse ABC song. We wouldn't sing our English ABC's like "Ah Buh Kuh Duh" and so forth, right? It's a song, let it be a song.

  • than he must call it the rune alphabet song?

  • Thhhhhhhhhhhats the way it iSS!

  • that's an absolutely retarded idea AquarianAscent

how are you going to sound out a stop consonant like "dagalaz"?

    dddddddddddddd?

you've got to be shitting me

  • There are schools of thought that practise and allow for this. See Edred Thorssons texts. Hes a twat in real life but you cant knock his knowledge. In fact there are many ways of pronouncing runes from the plosive way you mean to the elder futhark chantingof the whole Feeeeeee-huuuuu.

"Feee fiiiiii foooooooo fummmmmm I smell the blood of an englishman"

says the giant in Jack and the Yggradrasil, sorry, beanstalk ;-)

  • @AquarianAscent right you are^^

  • @AquarianAscent

Well, make yourself a video of your fffffff and ooooo as you read it from neorunic masters and co. and have fun with that.... I tell you one thing though, it won't be very aesthetic.

  • @nordicpower88 Not only that, it's not as effective a way to memorize the rune names as this video is.

  • @AquarianAscent

Nonsense. Who do you have that thirdhand crap from? Texas? Theres more than thousand ways of doing that...

  • @AquarianAscent Look into Galdr and its vocal patterns. You will find that there are many ways to call the Runes.

  • @AquarianAscent

By the way, Edred Thorsson may have some added knowledge to offer, especially his take on the use of runes in German half-timbered houses, and magical codes like tent runes and branch runes. He may be onto something with his runic stadha, however it's still not quite right... in that it does not produce the desired effects.

His system of ffffff rrrrrrrr uuuuu, has in my experience mostly not worked, and where it has, I have had much more success using intuitive systems.

  • @nordicpower88 intuition should be valued over books and other peopls opinions any time

  • Wow, I remember I saw this video along time ago, I didn't comment or anything at the time, but I thought it was just awesome! Magical! Thank you!

  • The German incision writing the Hungarian incision writing transformed/he may have a variant which to improve was continued characterwise,

Since the Hungarian is an incision signs plainer at the German.

single German letters in some places with only so much more other, that one or two lines are missing from the Hungarian letters, or just are reflected only horizontally.

  • Algiz Rocks!

  • To answer the question about z/R: The sound of the rune iwaz/iwaR fell together with the normal r during the Viking Age. The reason for the alternative transcription with z is due to the fact that old germanic languages, such as gothic, has an S. Compare Gothic dags, old Norse dagR, both meaning 'day'. S often turns into r, but the intermediate stage tends to be a z. Runologists can't determine whether the rune had yet become an r or not, hence the two different transcriptions.

  • Are there any rune called "scape"? ^.^

  • Nice Video the black/white pictures are from the "blätter von Yggdrasil" from Freya Aswynn is that correct, or where do you´ve got it from?

  • what means the lyrix in the scription?

  • its about odin who hung in a tree, pierced by a spear upside down

to learn the magic of the runes

  • I believe it is something like this -

    Wunjo

    Ehwar

    Algir*

    Lagur

    Isa

I'm not sure if Algir was actually used as a Z. As I am aware of its finale R use, I have ended up pronouncing all appearances of Z as R. And I don't think any rune has a Z anywhere but at the end.

I'm curious to know where the Z translation comes from.

Don't quote me on this one. I could quite easily be wrong.

  • It IS Algiz,

And there are several ending with Z.

Uruz, Ansuz, Mannaz, Algiz, Eihwaz, Inguz, Nauthiz, Teiwaz, Hagalz, Laguz, Ehwaz, And Dagaz.

  • You should write EhwaR, AlgiR or LaguR, or Ehwaz, algiz, laguz. "R" and "r" were two different sounds represented by different runes. The "R" probably was a palatal r, and the "r" was an alveolar trill.

  • Absolutely beautiful, thank you for posting this my friend.

    Good day

  • Wunderschön, Dankeschön

  • Very well

    Greetings from Dubai

  • Pentaclesandmiracles, totally agree with you. My Celtic/German/Scandinavian ancestral spirituality blossom when listening to this.

  • For every tiny piece of knowledge there is a sacrifice to be made. Rebirth through destruction, perfection through rebirth.

  • Life, light and liberation to the Sons and Daughters of the Gods of Hel and Valhalla!!

  • Truly the first and best of the rune calling videoes, electronic Galdor that inspired me to post my own rune cards, strange that some images were very parellel, I have been working on these cards for a couple decades; maybe proves the folk soul...Thank you sir.

  • Appeals to my celtic roots this does. Wonderful.. and the way you have done this video.. mesmerising. I could easily end up in trance with this.

  • All of you. Go IMMEDIATELY and listen to WARDRUNA. Each song is a musical manifestation of an individual rune, and it's the most spiritual Asatru music I have ever heard.

I do find the info...weird on this though. I've never read a version of Havamal where it says Odin hung from a Rood as opposed to Yggdrasil. Did you change it around for some reason?

  • No, as far as I know it is unedited.

  • What is a "Rood"? and am I correct in think that "Yggdrasil" is the "knowledge tree"?

  • Halgadom Rules!

  • Invoking Odin, Frigga and Thor:(German)

Vielen Dank Mein Gott Odin und Mine Hexe Göttin Frigga und die Königin der Walküren und ihr Sohn Thor! "Können die Götter der Asgrad segne dich.

  • Amazing song! I have this song in a mp3 file, but with a bad Quality, and i don't know who is this song, can you help me?

    Who is this song? Thanks!

  • This could in my opinion easily be the greatest video on u-tube the images, the music, it inspired me to put my own rune cards on and I can't thank you enough!! this is Asatru at its best and our ancestoral collective concious proven! Sincerly Dresden,

  • i can type runes on my computer cause i got a download it is sooooo sweet!

  • HEILSA!!! GREAT VIDEO

  • en tout cas tres estheiques!!!

  • Back to the pagan Gods!

  • <--------- Son of the All Father

  • futhark ;)

  • We are all Sons of Father with one eye

  • Cool... cyclops children... o.O

  • Odin calls to us!

  • beautiful presentation

  • yes use wikipedia...and then 'Runen'

the third picture on the right side called

    'Älteste Runenreihe („futhark) (eu (?) = ei)'

    have fun....

  • The Romans, although a product of Etruscan civilization, soon very deliberately destroyed anything of the Etruscans, including that. So it was good that it survived in some form.

  • nice idea writing Futhark with runes

  • sehr schön!

  • Absolutely Awesome!!! Loved it so much!

  • haha jeg elske skriverier inne norsk ingen kanne oppfatte meg =)

  • jeg kan. men du har noen stavefeil

  • This is really inspiring! Well done the quality of the video is excellent and the music great.

  • from this video I finally get why Jera is the J and Y rune! danke!

  • I really like the rhythm and melody of this chant, well done!

  • HONOR TO PAGAN GODS !

  • You mean honour to Heathen gods! Pagans are Hellenic, Heathens are Germanic. Technically anyway though modern day seems to throw anything non Kristinn into the Pagan camp, this is false.

  • heathen is a christian term meaning non-christian, its kind of the islamic term "infidile".

the pagans where those who had a polytheistic religion focusing on nature like the Norse, Saxons, Anglo-Saxons, Geats, Rus ect.

  • The swastika - a symbol of prosperity, balance and energy in the following layers of reality: matter, mind, soul(dreams, transition between death and birth) and the nondual spirit (Indians in the USA call it the great spirit). Nondual spirit is from whence everything arises. Everything CONTINUALLY arises from nonduality and therefore is ultimately synonymous with that nonduality. Perhaps THAT is god. Thou art That. In Sanskrit, tat tvam asi! Namaste. Entlightenment is disguised as matter.

  • All Hail The Great God Odin!

  • Hella yeah!

  • Gods didnt exists.

  • "Gods didnt exists"

Kid, finish grammar school before you slander.

  • I love this. I always loved to work with runes. Amazingness. :DD

  • you don't need to die to reach valhalla, I visit it every night.

  • I din fantasi? Eller har du någon vägbeskrivning ;P

  • Love this! Thanks! :)

  • Musikken er som magi

  • How do you reach valhalla?

Constantly seeking heroic ways to die..

How many of you have done this?...

  • Valhöl can be reach by diing in a fight where we were very brave, i learnt somewhere diing by hanging may work to reach valhöl.

    maybe more way exist.

  • Om jag får chansen att rädda någon i nöd så kan jag nog gott offra mitt liv. Borde vara nog.

  • Ah, how this music fills me with longing for my ancestors, and my dear norwegian woods..With this i say goodbye! see you in the woods!
