@DigitalPh0bia do you have a video with this sound uploaded? i dont have my easycap, and haven't had for a long time. are you using vista? if you do i think i know what problem you have, right click on the sound and click recording devices, choose the one which represents your easycap and click properties. go to the advanced tab and change the format to the highest quality you can.
is it the raw files or the edited videos sounding wierd? it could be your render settings if its after edit.

in all honesty if i were you, i would ditch the easycap and get a proper capture card like the blackmagic intensity pro or the hauppage hd pvr. much better quality, alot less fuss.
well i do have the ntsc 433 setting so my dazzle must support pal 60, although it didnt work in that setting with the digital camera as it obvioulsy only plays in pal 50, im sure it will be a clear pic with the x box set on pal 60, just one question though can you record in wide screen format using the amcap? also how can you change it so the recordings get saved in a folder instead of on the desk top?

i have this start up error i think its because i used a program just like this and when it stuffed up i deleted it and got this one, but the settings from the old program have transferred, so im thinking maybe i could reset the settings file, but i dunno how.
Basiclly , I can Record in Colour for PAL 50 , but i cant play any games basiclly because they run on PAL 60 , but when its PAL 60 , i can play the games , put its in Black And white :(

i have an easycap and it is the DC60 model, when i look on amcaps video capture filter there is no NTSC433 or PAL60 and i cant get it in colour no matter how much i try. PLEASEEEEE HELP ME
i guarantee that if your capture card supports 60hz signals, then this will work and you will have the option of NTSC_433... generally, if this video doesn't work then your capture card will not be able to pick up 60hz signals, therefore, you won't be able to record in PAL 60

Tried this on a Zolid capture card, since i didn't have any Pal60 option in my list, but had indeed the NTSC_433. I do get colors (same as with NTSC_M or NTSC_M_J actually) But the colors are correctly displayed on the left of the screen, and then the more you go right on the screen the more the colors are f***ed up (like a rainbow effect). I don't know what to do (tried this on a PAL N64 running imported games). On a Wii i get colors too but the image is all greenish with absolutely no red.
well by that information you have the easycap DC60, you need the DC60+ to be able to capture PAL60 signals. So unfortunately, nothing. Unless you get a new one. There is no way to tell if a seller is selling the right way because normally they still advertise them as DC60+. There are slight differences on the packaging/cd. DC60+ has a guy riding a bike infront of a tv, and a camcorder to the left

It probably does not support PAL60 or 60hz signals, if it doesnt you are shit out of luck unfortunately, you will need to buy something that can support 60hz such as the EasyCap DC60+ capture card.

But if you want to capture just the audo, the more sensible thing would be to record the whole thing. Aftwerwards you could put it into basically any video editing software and seperate the video clip from the audio, and simply delete the video clip.
I have not heard of this issue before, I can't be exact but I think my laptop which I used to record off had RealTek audio.
Just make sure that in AMCap you set the audio input settings correctly and make sure you have it ticked to record audio. Choose your audio capture device also, just under video capture device.

Yes this is due to not having the correct drivers. You would have purchased the EasyCap DC60. Which does not support PAL 60 signals.
The DC60+, however, does support PAL60 signals, and this is what you need to get NTSC_433. The only way of telling which version you have is the picture, and a small writing on the back which is hardly noticeable, The picture for a DC 60+ (cd case) is a guy riding a bike on an LCD tv, and a video camera.
Basic EasyCaps (DC60 v2.1A, 2.1B and 2.1C) doesn't have any support for PAL60 or NTSC-433 games, because of poor Philips chipset. But EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B has better chipset (Empia) and it has full support to PAL60 and NTSC-433 and You can play these 60Hz games with full colors. There is some samples in my Youtube pages (features videos).
I bet it is DC60+ Version3.1A - it is also Yellow main color CD and there is printed also only DC60 without that +. If it really DC60 there must be Version 2.1A or Version 2.1B or Version 2.1C printed on that CD.
Have You tried to install new video codecs both to Your Vista laptop and WinXP - FFDShow codecs are known best for EasyCap. I have that download link behind my every uploaded videos "more info" link in YouTube.
Also, downloading easycap from the same place that i did wont have any other effect. Look in the video for the link, just pause it when its at the one i click on in the video, its the one i downloaded from.
Pause it and copy down the link, you cannot post links in youtube comments.

If you are using an easycap, which im guessing you are because mostly easycaps only get this annoying problem.
I am convinced the only option is to purchase a new capture card, making sure it is a DC60+.
OR you can purchase a more high end capture card, if your using a desktop pc (non laptop) i would recommend buying a PCI-E capture card, they are hooked right into the computer and give better quality.

yes, it does lag, that is why it is best to buy Y splitters so you can turn your consoles cords into 2, one going into your easycap and one into your tv.
Check in options somewhere. It will say where it saves to, It will be different for different people, based on where its installed. If you changed it, i cannot tell you the default one because mine is changed.

no, sorry. you will have to buy a new capture card.
If you have the money check out the BlackMagic Intensity Pro. It goes into your PC (PCIe) check out /watch?v=uWAwl3rlLvw for a quality test.
It also produces low filesize,high quality videos. Though it will cost around 200-250 AUD.
I'm planning on getting one in the near future and will be getting going again with my videos.
As I'm told there is no issues with PAL/NTSC format (or easily changed)
and connections are made via HDMI from the xbox

basically, you don't have the right easycap.
Your easycap is a DC60
you need a DC60+
I got lucky, alot of people say they are selling the DC60+ when infact it is just the DC60 which does not support PAL60, or any 60hz signal.

There are alot of them being sold on ebay AU. Just out of sheer luck i got a DC60+. this was also a long time before i found out about the DC60+ and DC60 situation, i got lucky.

when i click video capture filter only the video proc amp comes up and i have plugged in my capturing device properly

It probably does not support PAL60 or 60hz signals, if it doesnt you are shit out of luck unfortunately, you will need to buy something that can support 60hz such as the EasyCap DC60+ capture card.
Check out my new video that is in the annonations as a link whilst watching this video and you can see the DC60+ in action. it also has links to other very informational things and one link features a link to an ebay user selling the DC60+, which often gets confused with the shitter, DC60

Up the top click capture, then navigate to Audio Capture and make sure it is ticked, to tick it just highlight over and click.

No, there isn't.
But if you want to capture just the audo, the more sensible thing would be to record the whole thing. Aftwerwards you could put it into basically any video editing software and seperate the video clip from the audio, and simply delete the video clip.

No i need both audio and picture because Im trying to record my wii atm and all i get out of it is the picture no sound.
Ive read up on google that haveing realteck installed can stop easycaps audio from working.

I have not heard of this issue before, I can't be exact but I think my laptop which I used to record off had RealTek audio.
Just make sure that in AMCap you set the audio input settings correctly and make sure you have it ticked to record audio. Choose your audio capture device also, just under video capture device.

I use the trial version, you do not need the full version, as you will notice on this video it says in brackets (demo version).

if you got the DC60+ then you dont have any problems.
Its barely any difference bettween the two, just the drivers are different

Yes this is due to not having the correct drivers. You would have purchased the EasyCap DC60. Which does not support PAL 60 signals.
The DC60+, however, does support PAL60 signals, and this is what you need to get NTSC_433. The only way of telling which version you have is the picture, and a small writing on the back which is hardly noticeable, The picture for a DC 60+ (cd case) is a guy riding a bike on an LCD tv, and a video camera.

Yes, It should work with all capture cards, as long as they have drivers which support PAL 60.

Basic EasyCaps (DC60 v2.1A, 2.1B and 2.1C) doesn't have any support for PAL60 or NTSC-433 games, because of poor Philips chipset. But EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B has better chipset (Empia) and it has full support to PAL60 and NTSC-433 and You can play these 60Hz games with full colors. There is some samples in my Youtube pages (features videos).

You must have EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and then there is that PAL60 also in the menu of AmCap. Basic EasyCaps doesn't support PAL60.

I bet it is DC60+ Version3.1A - it is also Yellow main color CD and there is printed also only DC60 without that +. If it really DC60 there must be Version 2.1A or Version 2.1B or Version 2.1C printed on that CD.

Have You tried to install new video codecs both to Your Vista laptop and WinXP - FFDShow codecs are known best for EasyCap. I have that download link behind my every uploaded videos "more info" link in YouTube.

umm, not really. Im sorry to say the worst.
Also, downloading easycap from the same place that i did wont have any other effect. Look in the video for the link, just pause it when its at the one i click on in the video, its the one i downloaded from.
Pause it and copy down the link, you cannot post links in youtube comments.

The dc60+ is a version of easycap capture card, there is also the dc60
If you are using an easycap, which im guessing you are because mostly easycaps only get this annoying problem.
I am convinced the only option is to purchase a new capture card, making sure it is a DC60+.
OR you can purchase a more high end capture card, if your using a desktop pc (non laptop) i would recommend buying a PCI-E capture card, they are hooked right into the computer and give better quality.

yes, it does lag, that is why it is best to buy Y splitters so you can turn your consoles cords into 2, one going into your easycap and one into your tv.
Check in options somewhere. It will say where it saves to, It will be different for different people, based on where its installed. If you changed it, i cannot tell you the default one because mine is changed.

Well, you actually dont have the dc60+.
The dc 60+ has a person riding a bike and a camcorder and lcd tv on the front.
The dc60 has a laptop. Sorry mate but your probably going to have to buy another.
