  • Did Neanderthals have souls ? Will there be Neanderthals be in heaven in hell ? At what point was a soul attached to Homo Sapiens ?

  • Caveman, yes they lived in caves. Human, yes they are Homo.

DNA proves there were not us, not Homo Sapians.

So there were two kinds of humans on the earth at the same time.

  • Wow you sheep are brainwashed. Read a biology book and use logic. Go to a musuem and look at the transitional fossils for yourself.

  • Dave another great video.

I first heard of this guy through Answers in Genesis,

and when I looked him up, you had already uploaded an interview he did.

Great work, your channel is like a library!

  • @tobigforyou Jack is going to put up his own website and my son Tony is going to build it for him. We maybe going to record an audio by him someday.

  • @BereanBeacon1 That is great news, I can't wait.

  • @tobigforyou You might want to get your scinece from a science site. DNA shows Neaderthals were humand but not us, a different kind of human.

  • @USAsoldier1955 Stop pretending to know about anything you primitive pleb...

  • YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE SENT TO THE FUCKING MOON.

  • This fucking first caller's a dumbass. According to the evolutionary theory a woman can not come from man. You cant use two of the other to make sense. In the bible it does state that god made eve from adams body but did he ever take to think that this is god here that he can do anything and can do that maybe even accoding to an atheistic theory they do not relate what a fucking dumbass.

  • Creationism is comedy for intellectuals

  • @ganados0 Creationists are very interested in real science, not science fiction.

All evolutionists have is hot air on the mostly anonymous Internet. We have the real science backed up by the $10,000 Life Science Prize. You can evolve from a chicken and win the prize or make cowardly remarks on websites until you ultimately die and become a creationists after it's too late. My last remark to you is something that everyone understands: CLUCK, CLUCK

  • @BereanBeacon1 Creationists are very interested in real science, not science fiction

And yet this 'science fiction' has a tremendous role in practical application in pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. Meanwhile creation science contributions have been....

  • @ganados0 Again real science has produced these inventions and all the all the disastrous side effects. Beef filled with hormones and then other drugs to keep them alive until slaughter. Crop manipulation and they don't know the long term side effects. Of course you wouldn't be aware of the contribution of scientists who were Christians, if you attended a government school. I am uploading a video titled, Apollyon Rising 2012, which looks into the dreadful inventions coming. Hell on earth.

  • Excellent -- the Evolutionists continually fail to supply supporting evidence, all they do is fill in their empty spaces with ill founded speculations.

God is the Creator of His Creation!

  • @USAsoldier1955 true dat

  • It's impressive how fundamentalists never care to check these things. You can just make up claims that those evil/foolish evolutionists supposedly made, put some descriptions of selective data that sounds impressive, and that's all most people want to hear. It reaffirms what one already believes, and usually no one goes beyond that, just rest reassured that his own faith of spontaneous generation by miracle (Genesis) or /wizardry (Exodus), or talking donkeys (#s) is not contradicted by science.

  • How can these people be so stupid? You are grasping at straws. Your religion has been PROVEN false. Evolution is real! Genesis, and the rest of the Bible are not anything real. They teach evolution in schools! There is not a single real person of science who believes this crap. This proves it is not a sin to lie, if it supports your religion! Did you hear him tell students to ignore their text books! If you fall for this B.S. you are a fool! What do they gain by ingoring the truth?
  • Pity science keeps these morons alive.

  • Well if a fundamentalist Christian Orthodontist says there was no evolution, who is to argue with that? Except maybe ever other biologist in the world.

This isn't even wrong. This is pure fantasy. wow.

  • @johnycannuk you never know an orthodontist could tell us alot of the teeth we find in the dirt and if it is even human or not, and who is to argue with that?

  • @johnycannuk Pont is they are munipulating the evidence and if you dont have evidence you have no proof. Are you questioning what he found?Would not an orthodontist know all about the teeth thats the specialty so yes of course he would know better than some biologist in that field as well as doctors who know anatomy say of the foot.So either all this is made up and this guy doesnt exist or they have been munipulating fossils there you go pick one.

  • evolved from Neanderthals ? lol

"overwelming evidence of young earth"? lol

I guess if it took only like 1000 years from the Himalayas to be erected from the bottom of the sea to an altitude of ~9.000 meters the Arabic plate will break up and south Ethiopia will turn into a sea in a couple of months , i 'll be waiting.

i advice smart people to get out of jesusland asap

Homo Sapient Sapients & Homo Sapient Neanderthalensis evolved from the same species (Rhodesian & Heidelberg man)

  • @psofic Please visit "Searching for Evolutionists Who will Defend Their Position (DEBATE DODGERS) " video and present your side to Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo or find someone else to do it and earn a $1000.

  • @psofic Actually they likely formed in a few days or less. The Flood happened man. There's no other explanation for the sedimentary layers forming as they did with NO erosion in between. The geological column does NOT exist outside of the textbook. There's two highly falsifiable statements, let's hear some science disproving them. Should be reeeal easy, right?

  • oba-1-3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

  • I am curious about how people feel about the recent reports that Europeans and Asians have the Neanderthal trait from breeding with the Neanderthal. The only group where the Neanderthal trait is missing is in the African group. I find that to be side spitting funny, when you think about early American history that said that the African was not completely human. Now it seems that the opposite is actually more true. Pure races are rare, but it is ironic historically.

  • Oh, what is that cry? From the mountains it calls The bone chilling wail Of the Neanderthals. Oh, what does it want? Tell us why does it scream From the top of the glacier Where he reigns supreme? Be still my beloved. As the new fallen snow For the Neanderthal Has just stubbed his large toe. Let us hide in the trees. Concealed in the eve's mist For the Neanderthal Sounds awfully pissed. FAX
  • Comment removed

  • If you are interested in science avoid this.

  • DNA proves we did not evolve from them, but we did interbreed with them!

They are a different 'kind' of human.

BTW They have 400 Neanderthal fossils.

You don't need to fudge the date to prove evolution happened.

''He wanted to make it more ape like'', bull shit!

  • All of you people are fucking ignorant

  • Personally I think they've jumped the gun on this "Neanderthal ancestry" thing.

What probually occurred was a union between EARLY H. Sapiens & the PRE Neanderthals. Why? NO LIVING PEOPLES harbor even one of the unique features of the classic or extreme Neanderthals of Europe such as having NO CANINE FOSSA.

Look at Mungo man fossil from Australia for example, it's clearly Homo Sapiens with NO Neanderthal like features yet it harbors different mtDNA.

  • @PantheraAtrox If you are white, you have Neanderthal DNA in you.

  • Neanderthals:

Didn't know whether to kiss them or give them a banana

  • @AmberLauren3 , LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hive minds who don't think for themselves will like this...

  • By the way, you don't have to be a Bible thumper to dis-prove Darwinian bullshit. There is NO more evidence for the fantasy of ancient Isis - Ra - and El from the Old Testament, than there is for Darwinian bullshit. Christians and evolutionists are BOTH religious nut jobs clinging to what neither group can prove, and that is REAL, not propaganda bullshit from another pathetic business man in a suit claiming to be a "prophet."

  • Aren't Cavemen and Humans the same anyway?

  • I'm sorry to be saying this but this guy is full of crazy ideas.. ofcourse evolution occures like some people already said here viruses bacteria and stuff like that.

If you even look closer at the story of creation you would see that its also talking about evolution first there were fish then land creatures then birds and last humans... its exactly what happened in the world.. think about that.

  • Dr. Cuozzo has demonstrated using measured X-Ray photographs that text book drawings and models of Neanderthal skulls and faces are fraudulent, driven by evolutionary presuppositions making them appear 'ape like' by showing lower jaws in dislocated positions. Cuozzo as an orthodontist is qualified to show that these reconstructions are fatally flawed. Evolutionists do BAD science, he's proved it! It is clear you don't even comprehend the implications of what Cuozzo is saying.

  • He made some good valid points such as the thin jaw angles of these ancients which seemed to indicate they were not the hard core skin "chewers" like the modern day Inuits were.

So I wonder if Neanderthals even bothered to create intricate clothing as they.

  • dude but there are some species that the darwin theory aint got shit on like ptorerdactils just apeared no evolution there i spelled the dino thing wrong im sure

  • I think it is funny that evolutionists Think that evolutionary biologists know more about human jaws than an orthodontist.

  • physical evidence from fossilized skeletal remains do not lie. There were over a dozen different specie of "homo", we as Homo Sapien being the last surviving and still surviving specie.

Orthodonists like this fella doesn't know. Just because man evolved doesn't mean a man such as Jesus did not live! Neandrathal las lived over 29,000 years ago, before they vanished. Homo Sapien took over and Jesus who lived only 200 years ago was a Homo Sapien as well.

  • Thanks for posting this. Sad & funny at the same itme.

  • Only a few minutes in and I can tell this is going to be a waste of time.

  • "The phony theory of evolution... What about the evolution of...like fruit flies, viruses, and other living things... are you saying that evolution only applies to these things and not humans?"

I'm not saying that evolution applies to ANY living creature. Have fruit flies evolved into something other than flies? Have humans, cats, dogs, birds, fish or any other creeping thing changed into another species or new kind? My beliefs hinge upon verifiable evidence, not conjecture or junk science.

  • Depends on ones definition of a fly, a bird a fish, these in the end are very generalized definitions

  • This is the guy that tried to pass off stones as fossils. The fact that he's a "young earther" says it all. Complete fool.

  • The specimens that Cuozzo studied in 1979 were NOT fossilized, ie stone, which is amazing since they are "millions of years" old, eh? I used to believe in evolution too. The willful fraud of evolution will infuriate you when you see it for what it is.

  • What he found was siliceous gravel.

"I used to believe in evolution too. The willful fraud of evolution will infuriate you when you see it for what it is. "

    Yea, sure you did....

  • neanderthals are probably decendant from cain

  • Cain was the inventor of music, the arts and architecture so I really doubt this.

Neanderthals may have played simple intruments but did no real art with the exception of possible body painting.

The real ppl who made massive ancient atemples, the pyramids, sphinx, etc, were us,...Homo Sapiens.

  • all you know is what they tell you we haven't a clue in who or what kind of people back then

  • We'll never know everything about these long vanished ancients. But genome research is helping bring some prehistoric truths to life.

  • hypothetically speaking if you looked at the bones of mma fighters thousands of years in the future you would probably assume they were of a different sub species like the neandertal because of there training and conditioning there bones are much stronger and bigger so might this be just a result of conditioning rather than a different species all together and if were going to refer to them as a different class shouldnt we do the same with race

  • But the DNA (genome) will still speak Homo Sapiens no matter how much they change.

Your basset hound, or pit bull technically still cries the same thing...direct dendants of the wolf.

Still the genome of Neanderthal says we're no kissin' cousins,..... no ancestrial relation.

  • @PantheraAtrox - Yeah, they invented flutes with the diatonic scale, but you don't call that real art ?? Bullshit, you have NO idea what they did, and open your mouth some more, so the religion of Darwinian bullshit can be laughed at once again !

  • Are you so sure that Neanderthal hands made this flute or was it stolen loot left behind by some Cro magnon artist?

Yeah, no one really knows..........chew on that.

  • crap. pure crap.

  • Exactly what I've been saying for years about that phoney theory of evolution!

  • whatever

  • The phony theory of evolution... What about the evolution of things that reproduce faster than us, like fruit flies, viruses, and other living things... are you saying that evolution only applies to these things and not humans?

Look past your narrow view and evolve beyond belief.

  • Neanderthal's and Humans had a common ancestor, we were two different groups of human like creatures. We evolved completely independently from each other. This you find when you learn, not when you read fairy tales.

  • Fairy tales?

you resort to derogatory rhetoric quickly enough, and maybe people won't realize that you haven't really looked at the argument being presented here.

  • trwsandford . So what part of my argument is not correct? What point of my argument is not correct in the face of a bible muncher? To what level can a grown adult sit there in la la land, believing in space daddy before rhetoric and derogatory comments become acceptable? In what other area of life do we accept such absurdity from people who claim to have an argument based on "a belief", because let's face it, if it was a fact it would no longer be called a belief. You would need no faith.....

  • In fact. I can't of addressed the argument any more directly to be honest. It is that simple. You can't address the point i made so argue the fact i call your religion a fairy tale instead. To be honest bible munchers have kept the world from progressing for far too long, hundreds of years. It is time they pretty much shut up on such subjects like this really.

  • As I suspected, you didn't even watch this video. you just came here to comment.

  • There you go, you did it again. Exactly the same thing, presuming that i do not understand the argument, or not done something, or that my comments are not valid without making any attempts to address the points i made. Is ad_hominem all you have?

  • Perhaps, perhaps not.

None of your posts have made any refutation of the evidence of the theory presented.

You have solely commented on your religion.

Suspend your religion for as long as it takes to examine the evidence, and forget that the people presenting you with evidence of the truth about Neanderthal man are doing their level best to tie this evidence into their religion.... and you may just learn something.

You assume too much, and listen too little.

    but there is always tomorrow!

  • If you read i made it quite clear what my argument was in regards to neanderthals and it quite cleary contradicts or stands opposed to the arguments put forward in the video. What more do you want? As for "You have solely commented on your religion." I have no religion and don't start on that creationist bullcrap about me not being there so i have to "believe". "You assume too much, and listen too little." more ad_hominem............

  • A religion is simply a belief system. Yours is as annoying as the "born again Christian", and more obvious.

You didn't refute any of the evidence, you simply repeated what you were taught in grade school about neanderthal man.

Your first comment was simply a regurgitation of theory... yet your particular religion wont allow you to look at any evidence that doesn't support the theory that is sacred religious dogma for people of the atheist religion..

  • Or is that how your arguments work. No matter what i say, if it doesn't conform to what you want to hear you will just claim i haven't understood it, or i would of had the same opinion as you?

  • If you would listen to arguments that didn't conform to your religion. You may understand...

but maybe its too late for you.

Look past the religion of the presenters here, and look at the evidence they present.

It is more concrete than the chain of evidence that neanderthal man is not human.

and this is not where you should stop looking.

4-24 mitocondrial DNA deviations is considered quite normal in our current human population. There were only 22 deviations from "human" in the NM sample.

  • The premise of the video was not the evidence on it's own, it was the conclusions made from that evidence. I really won't debate anyone who claims Aethiesm is a religion or has dogma attached to it. Someone who maintains that kind of "belief" might as well just talk to themselves....

  • you really don't have much to stand on do you?

  • Well, like i already said. I won't debate someone that claims Aethiesm is a religion. I can't stand on top of one idiotic remark and debate another. A simple two minute look in a dictionary would show you what Aethiesm means, if you can't grasp that then anything else will be completely above you.

  • and yet you continue to flaunt your religion and defend it with a religious zeal. You follow a shared belief system with the atheist community.. hmm.. this sounds like a religion to me. You have simply replaced God with Man. You worship yourselves, and thrive on insulting anyone that doesn't share your beliefs. You seem to be an Atheistic fundamentalist.

But as you said, we are off topic.

evidence was presented, you have yet to comment on the evidence. You brought up religion.

  • @mattyabsley It's fairly common knowledge that Neanderthals were human.

  • @GaileHarms Neanderthals were a type of Human, not like us.

  • They were not a "completely different species", we did share a common ancestor they just evolved differently .

Not even believers are totally different, they are just devolving instead of evolving and they will soon end up in our zoos.

  • Should I trust this guy, or the many DNA analysis already done that prove without a doubt neanderthal was a different species?

  • what would make u trust a scientist?

  • do the research urself just don't take it

  • I was being facetious: That guy isn't a scientist, he's a dentist (seriously, look it up if you don't believe me). Several DNA analysis have shown that he's little theory is complete bunk. Neanderthal was a completely separate species. Not human at all.

  • "Expert on Neanderthals." How? Cuozzo is a DDS and had his two creationist books destroyed by paleontologists."

Typical hypocrisy of the darwinists. "Destroyed" as it didn't agree with their theories? Cuozzo was more "qualified" than Darwin ever was, who started all that trash. Darwin's degrees? Divinity at a religious school....rofl

  • Discrediting Darwin does not belittle the theory of evolution. He may have had Alzheimers and multiple personalities; it would not change the fact that the theory of evolution has stood up to 150 years of scientific scrutiny, and has not been dis proven. Scientists generally do not consider themselves "darwinists," (whatever that means).

  • Take the stereo type E.T of the suppossed area51 and cross it with a silver back Gorilla, would u get a Neanderthal? then cross the latter with the stereo type E.T again would u get the Homosapian? what do the Annanukia described by the early Summerians look like? who was king anu of babylon (Iraq) 6000bc? why would the shinx of giza have faced the leo star constellation in 10.500bc? the truth about the shinx + truth about religion both on youtube!! next human evolutionary step is conciousness!!

  • what a pack or wierdos. they both sound stupid. Christians pfffft

  • Wow isoessu by the language used in your comment you sound both inteligent and mature. I think I will consult you from now on how to think and live my life...

  • lol "cavemans or humans" what the fuck!? they are both ..but they aren't homo sapiens

  • "Expert on Neanderthals." How? Cuozzo is a DDS and had his two creationist books destroyed by paleontologists.

Why do creationists write on things they don't have expertise about then claim they are experts?

  • To bad you don't see Cuozzo fetured on National Geographic!!! They would never feature any kind of evidence that contradicts their precious theory. Anyone who questions the established religion of evolution must be ostracized!!!!

  • God bless Dr. Cuozzo

  • Good vid based on a great book. I think Dr. Cuozzo is totally credibile.

  • Eyebrows grow all youre life if you lived longer back then like the bible says you would have quite large eyebrows that is evidence for creation there.

  • you could change pics one in a while

  • _ _ O O { 0

  • Why don't you try reading "Buried Alive, The Startling Untold Story About Neanderthal Man" before making such uninformed comments? You just might learn something, if you have an open mind.

  • Neanderthals were 5 foot 6, had different skeletons, bigger brains and a more apelike face. Get your facts right.

  • there were 140 pieces concocted to give that impression, and the nose was missing so they simply presumed to give him an ape nose: get YOUR facts straight, you're programed by the dark empire and you don't listen to the light, and no i don't care if some of these creationists are idiots or get things wrong, empire establishment mainstream science contradicts itself all the time and changes its mind with a triumphant hypocritical flourish, you're supposed to check the facts for yourself!

  • What the fuck is a dark empire, and Neanderthals didn't have an apelike nose, they had a big protruding one.

  • AYFKM you haven't seen star wars? When you're ready to give a serious response, please let me know.

  • lawl

  • I personally believe in theevolution theory i think its true cos we have same dna as chimps and we all look like monkeys (not like ( HAHA YOU LOOK LIKE A MONKEY!) thing)

  • Common design only proves that there is a wise designer. There are no missing links. All of the supposed missing links are frauds. Read Bones of Contention.

  • Proves? Proves your an idiot.

  • So, you're telling me that a pot of soup evolved into a man? That is one of the dumbest theories I have ever heard.

Nevertheless, read some documents at evolution-facts . org .

The truth stands irregardless of what statist scientists say.

  • Im only saying that you said "Common design only proves that there is a wise designer." It in no way proves anything. Your an idiot because your just pooping words out your mouth that someone else has put there.

  • we also share 50% of our dna with BANANAS

also i believe elephant bury their dead

  • Right. Elephant gets its elephant stump of a foot and starts digging a grave! AYFS? Wake up: the empire don't care about you, they are there to exploit you. Don't you know how the wolf smiled at Little Red Riding Hood?

Monkeys don't bury their dead: NO other living creatures bury their dead, only humans, its contrary to the pecking order of the foodchain that all creatures respect to give your flesh straight to the worms.

  • evil dark empires... lol and people say creationists are crazy. This isnt freakin star wars.

  • You wake up people arnt trying to kil u every step of the way. And how is bury the dead

  • contrary to pecking order or the food chain. I believe that the term food chain applys to the eating habbits and connections of living organisms not to ho they deal with thier dead. Pecking order has to do with social statius in animal groups. And elephants have tonails btw. Nature would want animals to give thier flesh straight to the worms anyway. it speeds up decompision.

p.s. ussually people dont answer a month fetr thier original post consider yourself luky

  • oops my posts are out of order cause of character limit read the bottem post first if u care to read the comments

  • This frog person also thinks he or she knows more about teeth and bones that an orthodontist with a DDS and an MS in oral biology. This could go on America's funniest home video.

  • NeanderValley, welcome.

  • And how do you know my credentials, might I ask? As previously stated, I am a student of biological anthropology working under a noted anthropologist. I am also to be published this year in a very well respected scientific journal. So, your comment, my friend, should appear on Kids Say the Darndest Things. If my information on the German language is incorrect, it is a misunderstanding of what I have been told by both anthropologists and German natives. I do not claim to study German.

  • I do not have a tendancy to keep up on Germany's economic status, nor the current events in their language adaptations. His data later in the book does not support his earlier claims about the neanderthals nor the presence of a chin. The only neanderthals found with chins were those bordering populations with homo sapiens. The point of question is a valid one, though his arguments for it are invalid. There are many other, more reputible (continued in next post)

  • Then you should look again at La Quina H5 as there was a chin there when it was found.

  • Have you seen he excavation photos of V? There was no chin even in the excavation photos.

  • scientific arguments about neanderthals and whether or not they were simply another form of homo sapiens. As it is written now, they are refered to as a seperate side branch/ species based on the DNA extracted from one idvidual. However, this is a heated debate in the scientific community at this moment. So, as previously stated, his question is not absurd, but rather his arguments are. I, personally, do not hold to neanderthals being a seperate species (continued)

  • nor do I hold to them being the same. I simply hold to the fact that their is not enough evidence for me to take one side or the other at this point in time. Those found with chins suggest interbreeding, which would cast out the idea of neanderthals being a seperate species as that would contradict the very definition. Studies are currently being done on those specimens and we can expect the results in the next few years. Until then, we must wait. His hypothesis is valid, his data is not.

  • hold to the fact that *there*

  • The best anthropologists in the world have not discredited his data. I doubt very much that you can.

  • Dr. Colin Groves PHD of Biological Anthropology(accreditated) has been a professor of Bioanthropology at such institutions as UC Berkeley and Cambridge University and research includes human evolution, skeletal analysis, biological anthropology and ethnobiology. Colin Groves PHD wrote a book reveiw of "Buried Alive."

  • Yes, I have read it dozens of times. He did nothing to discredit Cuozzo's book. In fact if you reread it Groves said many complimentary things about Cuozzo's book. I know you read Groves' review - but did you read Cuozzo's response to this review? see JackCuozzo[dot]com/groves.html

  • I know what mean. I've watched like 5 documentaries on this subject and they're all different. Maybe there is less solid evidence than I originally thought. The story keeps changing.

  • It is also quite informative when referring to the letter "h" in Neanderthal, that the same person states, " in fact, has been stricken from the spelling of the area since." , While, in reality, in Mettmann, Germany, in the Neander Valley, the sign on the Neanderthal Museum where the first recognized Neanderthal was found in 1856 reads; "Neanderthal Museum." With an "h". Anyone can go to their site to view this.

  • Isn't it interesting that a person who hasn't read all 345 pages of "Buried Alive" thinks he or she has refuted the entire book. Then states about Dr. Cuozzo, "He obviously has no care for the YOUNG neanderthals" when at least a quarter of the book is dedicated to data relating to young Neanderthals and modern children,

  • Furthermore, his claims on dentition are rediculous. No anthropologist would rearrange teeth (as that would be completely obvious to any other scientist and they would immediately lose any credability.) As far as the "cutting off a chin", that is equally as rediculous as again it would be completely obvious, neanderthals have a simian shelf, and there are casts of neanderthals WITH chins in ANTHRO 1 classes!

  • There is not a single Neanderthal with a simian shelf. And if you read his book you would see that Neanderthals start off with chins, but they become less pronounced with age.

  • Again, you assume too much. Have you personally looked at ANY of these fossils? Have you ever seen a fossil, or have you only read about them in books written by orthodontists? Neanderthals have a simian shelf, do some basic research or go and see a fossil for yourself. The ones without were found on the border of Neanderthal populations with Sapiens populations, thus leading to the question of interbreeding still argued amoung scientists today. These examples with chins are NOT hidden.

  • The forward tipping of the dento-alveolar process in its mesial migration of all the lower teeth and bone of La Ferrassie and La Chappelle (before he lost the teeth) can trick someone not nursed in anatomy into thinking its also a simian shelf. But it's not - and no neanderthal has one.

  • The mandible was kept from breaking at this chin area not so much by external butressing (though that was the case for La Ferrassie I) but by the sheer thickness of the symphyseal region at the inferior margin.

  • "FrogSplat..." doesn't know his internal mandibular anantomy. Look at the processes for the genioglossus and geniohyoid muscles & look at the digastric fossa underneath. The Neanderthal muscle attaches on all their bones were much larger because they were much stronger muscle forces. Given that fact, these mandibular processes were large & appeared to be like a simian shelf even though they were not.

  • Futhermore, reduced with age? Reduced to the point of not existing excpet in the few cases where those with chins? You also claim they have no simian shelf, what prevention system did they have in place for their jaws not breaking? This goes against the concept of neanderthals being homo sapiens. Your mandible does not become less prognathic in your lifetime unless you undergo some form of surgery. And, I am pretty sure nanderthals did not have chin jobs.

  • Thanks for the video! The book was great too!

    :-)

  • MIarHEv4GdvAy7tc, Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

    3.morally...just another religious retoric

  • Not only this, but Homo neanderthalensis has very distinct features that cannot be changed with dentition. For example, they have what is known as an occipital bump, a double-arched supraorbital torus,a strong brow ridge, and a long, low brain case (1500cc brain which is actually larger than modern man). Neandertals are not "human" if we are calling humans what are walking around today. We share the same genus (homo)but we are different species. Genus= homo, Species=Sapiens Sapiens

  • The occipital bun is also explained in his book for those that actually take the time to read it.

  • Some sceintists do think that homo neandertalensis was a varient of homo sapiens, the real truth is that there is not enough information to really know. As of now, the mtDNA says no, but hat was from one subject. This is a large debate in the scientific community.

  • His "research" is based on the "old age" of those individuals found. He obviously has no care for the YOUNG neanderthals (pronounced neanderTAL) found which also exhibit the same features. "Dr." Jack Cuozzo holds no degrees in anthropological studies, only in ORTHODONTICS. He is in NO WAY a "leading authority" on neanderthals...he can't even say it correctly.

  • The use of both "Neandertal" and "Neanderthal" is still commonly used by many anthropologists. Including Ian Tattersall.

  • Actually neanderTAL is the correect pronunciation. The name is dervived from where they were found in Germany, where the H is silent and. in fact, has been stricken from the spelling of the area since. "Neanderthal" is incorrect.

  • Dr. Cuozzo x-rayed and documented at least four juvenile neanderthals, who did NOT have brow ridges. Cuozzo's lack of degrees in anthropology is hardly a disadvantage, as it relies heavily on circular reasoning. It's funny that you don't consider him an authority, he held, measured, x-rayed and studied the real specimens thirty years ago. Orthodontic study is exact.

  • If an anthropologist were to alter remains in such a fasion, any scientist that found out about it would turn him in. It is very easy to tell when remains have been altered, especially if it has been filed down at all. However, I cannot imagine an anthropologist doing this because the dentition of Homo neanderthslensis is quite destinct with all of the samples we have and all of them would need to be altered.

  • Dr. Cuozzo is in a sense turning them in by publishing his book. If you actually read his book you would see what parts of the dentition were distinct and why.

  • I also study ancient remains, I understand dentition as it was then and is now. Cuozzo has NO ANTHROPOLOGICAL BACKGROUND. He is in NO way a "leading authority on neanderthals. Stop assuming I have not read his book as I have already addressed what he claims and debunked what he said in his book. His work is unscientific.

  • A moldy bucket of KFC in your fridge does not qualify as "ancient remains"

  • Well, do bronze age skeletal (human) remains do it for you? Because that is my area of focus at the moment. I have previously done videos on here, since removed, if me going to my lab, at my college, where I study under a noted anthropologist.
