I guess some types may be better warm, but I've yet to meet one. I think it could only benefit something that isn't good to begin with, to cover the flaws. Chilled is the way to go.

@IhatejonasandHSM Yes. ＾－＾ Japan has really lots of Onsen ryokan. They seem to have their own originality respectively. So it's good to look for a nice one for you before you visit to an onsen ryokan. ＾０＾

The food 1:12 is wagashi(Japanese traditional sweets). It is really sweet and match Japanese tea!

As one may surmise from my name, that part made me extremely thirsty.

@JunmaiShu Japan has many kind of sake actually. Lots of areas have their locally brewed sake. So we often enjoy local brew when sightseeing/visiting the area. ＾０＾

"Japan" has many kinds of sake... point being they are all Japanese. It it's not Japanese, it's not really sake ;)

I've always preferred the simple, pure rice sake's. Nothing fancy added. Over here in the states everybody seems to buy into the misconception that you're supposed to prepare it hot. When I was in Japan I rarely saw it prepared that way, and when I did it was usually trendy clubs catering to American tourists.
