Geez, I never really listened to the lyrics to this song before. @sunderland2341 By separation of classes to you mean races? I've heard of racism and cliques in the high schools of Southern states from one of my Asian friends who moved out to Georgia. I live in Sacramento, CA which happens to be very diverse. I'd say that most students here mesh very well with one another. So it all really depends on the background that each person grows up in.

Sports is somewhat big at the high school I went to, but there really wasn't really a split like that. Everyone got along with each other.

I may have pointed that it may be more prevalent in the Southern States based on second hand experience, but from first hand experience, MOST races in the high school I went to get along with each other. And I did point out that it depends on the students' background growing up. He personally experienced and stated that his school in California was diverse. It's inaccurate in making those assumptions about schools in Southern states.
