I lived in Moscow for two years in the 1980's. People are nice. I spent New Year's at Red Square 1988. The air was so cold that it stung. I really did not enjoy it much. Here is a suggestion for Russia. Every New Year's Eve in Red Square have a very large bonfire. I would bet that people would flock to Red Square on New Year's eve if there was a nice bonfire to enjoy. It would light up the place and people would even more happy and warm there.Tourists would come from all over to enjoy it
