I remember when it came by for the Bicentennial and I remember that it had the moon buggy on board, or a reproduction of it.

I have loaded some pictures of the American Freedom Train on Wikipedia during it's trip thru Georgia. My dad was the engineer when it came thru.

I jumped on board the Freedom train in 1976

we waited in line for hours to get a ticket, and what fun

My Mom and Brother and I had so much fun seeing all the

stuff on the train , a once in a lifetime thing. thanks for the footage and the memory, It was in Albany NY 1976

It was repainted to the freedom train paint scheme in 2002, but is now back to the daylight paint scheme
