I dont have any plants or decaying fruit in my home. Where are these aggravating pest coming from? I sprayed my window seals with Bengal pest spray, its killing the knats in my window seals (lots of them) but everyday I have to wipe out my window seals. Where can they be coming from?
Put in a shallow dish, one part booze (brandy works great, but vodka or gin or any distilled spirit should work) and three parts grapefruit juice. Gnats will nose dive into it and die.
The Vinegar idea he mentioned does attract a bunch of them, but they hang on the edge of the bowl. They don't go in and drown, very upsetting because I hate the smell, and I had to smell vinegar for nothing.
@manatarms79 I grow wheatgrass for juicing & have caught quite a few gnats with bowls or glasses of vinegar. You need to add a drop or two of dish detergent to the mix. Somehow it kills them. You can actually pour a weak solution of dish detergent on house plants & get rid of them, too. Cinammon sprinkled on houseplant dirt kills bugs, but it takes time to work, maybe a couple of weeks or more.
